Recently my sister decided to start playing on my Xbox with her friends. She made her own account and everything, and bought her own LIVE, etc. Halo Reach is the first shooter she has ever played, and she has had fun with it.
Today, she comes to me and asks why she got a message saying “This Xbox has been banned from receiving credits.” So of course, I wonder how a girl who has played the game for 2 days can somehow get an Xbox banned from receiving credits. She even confirmed to me that she had done nothing wrong, and had purely just played the game. It turns out, after a bit of studying, i found that if a player goes into a game, and plays and everything, has a good time, but sucks (which she should, I mean hell, anyone who just starts playing is gonna get a bunch of 0 kill games) they are going to get a credit ban? The only reason being for sucking? What is wrong with you people?!
Now honestly, since it is her account that she was playing as, if it was only her account that had gotten the credit ban, i wouldn’t have given a crap. She doesn’t even know what a credit is. But I log onto my account just to find, its my entire freakin Xbox that has gotten the ban. WTF? So now not only did my sister get a credit ban for sucking (which quite frankly is complete BS), but somehow my account is affected also? I mean come on! MY ACCOUNT did literally NOTHING WRONG, and IT GETS A CREDIT BAN? You guys talk about if someone gets on your account, and uses it to boost, you will get a ban since it is your account, and you’re in charge of it. This I agree with. But when someone else on a different account on your Xbox is boosting, sucking, whatever, you have no control over that. This is hardly fair, seeing as my account is squeaky clean, not even close to getting banned ever, keeping close to the rules, YET I CAN STILL GET BANNED SOMEHOW.
So I’m pissed. I don’t care if its Bungie, 343, or whoever that installed this new ban hammer system, just somebody please help me out. I’ve already kicked her off of my Xbox, and told her that if she wants to play, she has to buy her own, but can somebody please help me? I hope that I’ve made it clear that this credit ban was definitely not deserved. I mean how do you expect more people to play your game when you ban them for just beginning to learn the game?
343, please don’t get on my bad side before I’ve even played one of your games. Just help me out and lift this BS credit ban at least off of my Xbox. It doesn’t matter if you keep her account banned. Just lift it off the Xbox, so I can keep playing your game.
