hi there this has happened to me today and it is very disappointing as i am a new player and am still a very bad player, i am trying hard to get better but i am not, hopefully this will come with practice lol, i am finishing all games and am also playing fair, it can only be that i finish most games with 0 kills, cant be helped when i am this crap. i have got in touch with admin and some others but none get back, so i am trying on here as it isnt the same playing without getting points, now i know you can use them lol, thanks all

I really don’t know why they put that there, I guess because if you were not playing in a game you still get credits if your player was in the match. If you’re only a Corporal and you’re playing Field Marshalls, then try putting your search restrictions to skill, so you’re playing people around the same rank as you. Hope this helps.

Well, as many people tested and approved, the game can tell the difference between moving and not getting kills, and AFKing! In some games it’s AFKing, when in others it’s not. So you got banned propably for AFKing in some games…

I have to say that sometimes is NOT someones connection! I played Reach greatly until 1 day before the beta hoppers! After that, it’s all messed up! I checked my connection, it’s the same internet speed, the same modem and the whole same system hardware! I also played Battlefield (both Bad Company 2 and 3) -a server game which is more laggy than a p2p hame- and i played just fine with no lag at all!! So how could this be my connection?

She was running around, talking to the people on our team and learning to play a game she has NEVER played before. Giving out cR bans for playing with guests(who suck) is really stupid.

So is going into Matchmaking and submitting other players to having to play with your sucky guest. If your guest sucks, then play some Custom Firefight or Custom Slayer against them to let them get the hang of it.

After being unbanned I was once again banned again today for being bad. Not only was I banned, but my boyfiend’s account and his xbox were also banned.
This is BS.
Why am I being punished for being new at this game? I have been practicing at the game, I have been playing with a group of people who have been teaching me how to play and who have helped me improve.
Everybody in my party knows I suck, and they didn’t care. We were having a good time, playing and chating. Please fix your AFK ban.

If you think that you don’t deserve it, contact an administator, Sellout is the best for ban issues. But it’s easily detectable that it was AFK because your guest was spawn killed. So the only way to get spawn killed is AFKing!

Did I really just read this correctly, the only way to get spawn killed is AFKing?
This is hugely wrong, I have been spawn killed multiple times in Reach on different occasions, I don’t AFK.

Yes you read that correctly and give me a match in your file share that you get spawned killed withougt being able to take a single step. (This match should not be an invasion match)

Just to set the record straight my question is not about why I got banned but will doing this get me banned? The reason why I’m asking this is because I’m in college and I’m playing Halo Reach online off of my Universities internet network and recently I’m getting dropped games where everyone quits but me leaving me by myself in the game due to networking difficulties. But what really concerns me is that every time that happens since I’m the last one in the match it automatically ends with my team being the winner. And since my team wins I get the performance bonus afterwards and a point towards this weeks weekly challenge. I feel that when that happens I’m unjustly getting those wins from networking problems because of my universities in consistent connection quality. Plus I’m scarred of getting banned because of it as I’m afraid that every time that happens it might ban me from playing my favorite game on my xbox. So if there is any answer for this problem it would be appreciated.

Yes it can get you banned but only temporarily so there is no real reason to worry about it!
My account and console have both been temporarily banned from earning credits. Occurred while playing on the Tu Beta site. No email message received as to what triggered this, so would REALLY like to know what action(s) triggered this or whether this is a ‘glitch’ caused by playing on the Beta Test site (such as triggered when completing daily challenges and the bonus jackpot).
Reply would be greatly appreciated, as I am not the greatest player, but have enjoyed playing the game thus far.

Yeap! The quit ban is 5-15 minutes and then everything is back up and running!

Is there ANY way to rid the mic strikethrough symbol so that I might communicate with my team mates? I’ve tried several different variations of configurations with no avail, so my conclusion is that it has something to do with an official meddling such as this: MUTEBAN.
