If you play with 7 other players in a game, and play 6 games, then thats 42 players whom you screwed with. Even if its a firefight mod, you still robbing other players of thier fun. Cr mod is probably the dumbest of the mods. Levels are based on Cr accumulation. If you mod your way to the top, then what the hell is the point of playing anymore. Youve got all the armor and unlocks. Your probably playing against a higher caliber player if your an inheritor, and your only ruining it for yourself. You moded, your done. I hope other mods/cheaters see this post and understand the importance of fair play. Its a video game, I never condone cheating, but if your gonna cheat in Halo Reach, then god knows the cheating that might go on when its actually something important in your life…Shame on you guys

As I said, the only way to keep playing Reach is to do so through a new Xbox LIVE account. Your ban on your old account cannot be reversed as you violated Code of Conduct. If your account was console banned, you will have to play Reach on another Xbox or buy a new Xbox if that is not an option.

you were afking during games. AFK (no matter the reason) is a bannable offense!

I wasn’t AFKing I was getting spawn killed and couldn’t move and got banned because of me not moving. How does that make sense?

The banhammer is programmed that if a person does not get a single kill in a game, the player is considered DNF (Did Not Finish)/AFKing (Away from Controller/Keyboard) by the banhammer and it keeps track of that. If a player gets too many DNFs in a short duration or a percentage of 15-20%+ of all their games are is met as DNF, the banhammer will issue a ban.
What I would recommend is if your teammates spawncampkill you, first of all submit a player review on those players, avoiding them, Unsporting Conduct being the reason. If they are playing Reach on the Xbox One, it will affect their Reputation. Secondly report the players for cheating as it sounds like they are trying to exploit the Performance Bonus system and have a Peace game to boost additional cR. What I am getting at this is that you wanted to play Grifball, but they wanted to boost, so they made sure that they could boost by spawncampkilling you, which is also wrong. Boosting through exploitation instead of playing the objective based gametype to score the objective is cheating, and they deserve to be reported for doing so.
Also, I would recommend finding seven at the least other grifball enthuiasts to go into Grifball with in the future to prevent this from happening again to you. Now that you know how the banhammer works, without getting a kill, and letting everybody kill you, you did essentially AFK in allowing them to do so., so you were issued a ban. You’ll just have to wait it out. Once it is over, try to get at least one kill in every game to prevent a future ban from occuring.

Your Xbox Account was not banned from earning cR, you capped out at the daily limit, which is 200,000 cR. You played alot of grifball, wow you really played alot today, but you are getting kills and trying to get out of being spawncampkilled from what I can tell, so it is not a ban, just the online cR cap. You’ll probably have to wait until tomarrow to get more cR.

try signing into a different live account and then back into your live account. that’s solved that glitch for me before

Yes, as having 0 Kills in a matchmaking game will be considered DNF (Did Not Finish)/ AFC/AFKing (Away from Controller/Idling). I would not recommend trying to test how many games you can get away with if you truely want to play matchmaking. The exact number is a short duration is unknown, but you can earn a temp ban by having too many DNFs in a short duration, or having a threshold of 15-20%+ of your matchmaking games total as DNF.
Hello members of Bungie and Halo Reach forums. My name is Hypxrly and I have been playing Halo Reach since day 1. I have always had a passion and love for the game and I absolutely love matchmaking and custom games. I have numerous hours and days put into this game and joined clans and groups and almost went competitive. As you guys may know Halo reach started to have a reputation for modding of vehicles and forge items in custom games. I knew multiple people that did it and also people on YouTube. Well I watched a video on how to mod the service tag on your player to change the 4 letters into the bungie symbol. So I did that and played about one matchmaking game. After that I went into custom games with some friends and right before the game started it disconnected me and said I was permanently banned from Halo: Reach Online and console banned. That was the only modding I ever did. This was way back in 2013 and after I was banned I stopped playing because I couldn’t play with my friends or online. Well it’s been about 4 years since I’ve been banned and with the Xbox One out and Xbox One X coming out soon with backwards compatibility I was wanting to know if there could be any possible way to become unbanned. I have already purchased a new Xbox 360 console but I have over 18k gamer score and don’t want to lose my progress in all my games. I am still account banned. I think 4 years of no Xbox live play for modding 4 letters into a bungie symbol is a very reasonable punishment and I have learned my lesson. Sorry Hypxrly, but any sort of modding goes against Xbox Live’s Terms of Service. Bans like these are automatically detected and handled by XBLE services, there is no way to be unbanned if you were banned for this reason. If you would like to play reach again, you’re going to have to start it on a new account
