Hey guys, I have a question regarding a game that I just played but am not completely sure if it should be posted here.
Not this was a normal Team Slayer playlist game, slayer on Pinnacle. During this game, 2 of my team Quit presumably because the enemy was in a extreme advantage.
I have played several thousands of games and never saw a rocket launcher lock in on players (who are out of vehicles) and have unlimited ammo before. Is this some kind of bug or is it a hack as I suspect it is?
The game is in my fileshare, it should be very clear once you see it. ]
Can anyone shed light on this for me?
Regards.
Gotta love those terms though, haha I know a few people that break them all the time.

If you played this in matchmaking, your match was definately modded by somebody. Also, two of your teammembers likely quit, not tdue to the enemy team having an advantage, but so they do not violate LIVE Code of Conduct by knowingly playing with others who are modding/hacking.
Rather than risking a potential Reach file share ban by uploading the obviously modded filetype to your fileshare, I would recommend instead saving the game footage from the match, name it something that will be an indicator what it is, and contact Bravo or Grimbrother One via twitter to have them look at the case.
Also, if the modding only applied to the other team and not your team, I would additionally recommend you file a report, cheating being the reason against the LIVE players on the other team so LIVE Enforcement Team can look into that as well.
Hope this helps and have a nice day now.
I gonna honestly say, the Reach ban system is stupid. I have numerous times played with friends and family that don’t know what to do because they can’t see their own legs. They don’t get kills. It’s a stupid system.

Actually you did something wrong, well from your game history it’s obvious that you are trying to boost in Grifball since most of your games you get ZERO or very little kills compared to the rest of the lobby and you tend to have a lot more deaths during those matches too. The ban hammer picked you up for that exact reason. No matter the age of the game the ban hammers still are active and will hit if you do wrong. You’re going to have to wait the ban hammer out as 343 will not reverse credit bans. Helpful hit. Don’t claim that you did nothing wrong since gameplay footage and game history do not lie.

Looking at your Halo: Reach game history, I’m seeing you’re playing a lot of Grifball. What I am noticing are a lot of games, almost every grifball game recently you played as a matter of fact that shows a duration of 13+ minutes, which is a clear sign of trying to intentionally make the game last longer to exploit the Game Performance Bonus for an ill-legit cR boost, known as a ‘Peace’ Game.
‘Peace’ games are an exploitation of the Game Performance Bonus, which in such a way was not intended by Bungie or 343i to boost cR payout. Boosting is a form of cheating, both exploiting in this fashion and cheating violate LIVE Code of Conduct, that binding agreement you agreed to when you created your Xbox LIVE account that applies to you and any and all actions that occur on your account.
From LIVE Code of Conduct Page:
Don’t cheat or tamper. For example, don’t:
- Exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches - Intentionally play with someone who is using unauthorized software or methodsAdditionally, a decent portion of your grifball games, about 20% I would say (1 out of every 5-6 games) you have 0 kills, which the automated banhammer treats as a DNF (Did Not Finish) and keeps tally of that. Either if a certain threshold is met or too many games within a short duration have 0 kills and/or were not completed, the automated banhammer will issue a ban.
So I would say based upon your game history, you were likely banned for finishing a lot of games within a short duration with no kills as well as likely being reported by other players for cheating when you were performing ‘Peace’ Games and rightfully so.
Hope this helps and have a nice day now.

Good afternoon.
Before I can help out in any way, I assume your ban was on another Xbox profile, as the one you are using here on Waypoint has no prior Halo History and 0G toward Halo related gamerscore. If you can give the name to the banned account, it can potentially (No promises) be looked into. Otherwise we can’t do anymore for you until then.
mi xbox profile banned is ZONEXgamer12
And I have evidence that nadies of the group was with hack or aimbot we were alone in strming by youtube there is this that nobody is infringing the rules of the halo community and my console is 100% original just finish talking to the xbox colombia by That I live in colombia and they told me that the only way was talking to you <3

This is what I wanted to see.
So looking at your Halo: Reach game history , you were banned from Halo: Reach for modding your four number/letter service tag to values other than space, a number, or a letter. Having |||| as part of your service tag here on Waypoint is a clear indicator of that.
Modding violates Xbox LIVE Code of Conduct as does knowingly playing with others who mod.
From the LIVE Code of Conduct Page:
Don’t cheat or tamper. For example, don’t:
- Use unauthorized hardware or software - Make unauthorized modifications to your account profile or its contents (e.g., tenure, Avatar, game saves, Gamerscore, achievements) - Intentionally play with someone who is using unauthorized software or methodsAdditionally, if a ‘friend’ or somebody else modded Halo: Reach on you, as per LIVE Terms of Use , you are responsible for any and all activity that occurs on your Xbox LIVE Account.
From the LIVE Terms of Use Page:
"Because information personal to your Xbox Live subscription will thereafter be available to you via the Xbox Live, you are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Microsoft Account password and account. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account on the Xbox Live. Microsoft will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your account, either with or without your knowledge. "
You were not ‘unfairly’ banned, LIVE Code of Conduct and Terms of Use are legal binding agreements you agreed to upon creating an Xbox LIVE account, that were either violated by you or somebody else when your four number/letter service tag was modded on Halo: Reach. Reach’s banhammer picked up on the modding and permabanned your account justifiably from Reach. Due to Code of Conduct and/or Terms of Use being violated, your ban cannot be reversed. If you want to continue playing Halo: Reach, you will have to use a new profile in order to do so.
It is infringing/violating LIVE Code of Conduct and Terms of Use, not the Halo community rules that earned you a ban. So whoever you talked to from Microsoft or Xbox Support was either not given adequate information or did not know what they were talking about. Hope this helps and have a nice day now.
wow
I did not know it was because I put those points on the label I’m sorry I did not know I’m new to the world of xbox I just changed because I played in halo 2 and I pass to reach but if I never use a type of hack that affects the gameplay Of the players I do not know if there is a possibility of at least console disbandment or perdil presvia avia bought gold to play I’m sorry I did not know that to put that infringed the norms of the community of halo could you tell me if there is foma of disbaneo or I already lost the console with my favorite game </ 3

Sorry but if you modded your profile in any way and were banned as a result, the only way you can play Reach again is to create a new account.
If this is actually a console ban and not just an account ban, then you will need to buy a new console as well in order to play.
Modding is taken pretty seriously and there is no way to appeal against these types of bans, everyone should be aware of the terms when playing.
