While playing matchmaking and Firefight on Halo Reach this week several times the games faulted when attempting to load. For a few games, I was left as the only player and as soon as the game loaded it said game over with no credits. Besides wasting lots of time I received warnings about leaving games before they finish. I never quit a game/match, never! After several times of these system glitches occurring I received a notice that I am now banned? How can I contact management to protest? Sorry to be the bearer of bad news punisher but no one from management cares or listens to protest hear on these forums. Let me try and help you understand why you are banned so you may be able to avoid them in the future. My guess is you are now on a quit probation so any quit gives you an automatic 10 minute ban if you quit. That probation last 48 hours from your last quit game. The ban system is automated and is handed out to players who quit too many games. “but I didnt quit” I can hear you screaming now. I believe you 100%. There is and has been a major problem with Firefight since reach inception and I will make it loud and clear for everyone.
IF THE HOST QUITS A FIREFIGHT MATCH IT IS RECORDED AS A QUIT GAME FOR ALL PLAYERS.
Yes that right, when you playing a game and the host migrates and the host quits or lags out you may end up in your own game by yourself or be put in with other players but the Banhammer will record it as a game you didn’t finish. Even though you get a game complete screen and credits. It sucks big time and the end result is the ban you are now on. This is the one reason I don’t play firefight anymore and only do score attack. (cant be a quit when I’m the only player). Unless you can find some friends with a good connection that never “quit” out on you then this is your only option because they haven’t fixed this problem, wont fix this problem and have no desire to fix it either.

I really love Halo and how much it combines Arena (MLG) and Community (Forger’s, clans etc).
I’ve never personally gotten banned, but I know a few who have through.
I’ve been band cause i played grifball and did nothing but half the time my own team help the other players by killing me every time i had the ball and when i was close to the goal and i cant leave or i’ll have a band that way too.

Credit limit. Don’t play grifball tell your son to play other gametypes like big team battle, living dead, or swat.
