Only problem I’ve ever had was getting booted out in Firefight due to the fact my teammates quit (except 1), and my connection can’t hold anyone usually so it kicks me out. I finish the game, get the credits, but it still counts as a “quit”.
Only ten minutes though. I have no idea what hell you’d have to bring to get something more than the 10 minute ban thing. ._.

I have been credit banned too many times to count for no apparent reason (I am currently banned now). I finally said something to my dad about it and he found this forum. I rarely quit games, I do not mod, exploit or cheat in any way.Can you please help me find the issue that is causing me to trigger these bans? Reason why I ask is because the LIVE account gRavybOaT224 is at the rank of Hero and is much further than only one rank away from inheritor. Additionally over the summer of 2015 so far, you have only played 19 games if this is the given account. Also if this is the given account, within those 19 games, two of those games you have zero kills in, and there is substantial evidence there in which you also quit/lagged out of/ been booted from seven of those games and questionably two more games.
So out of those 19 games with this account, you were considered AFC/AFKing(Away from Controller; idle) and/or quitting/lagging out of/being booted from nine games for sure, half of the games you played thus far this summer. Also, how are you exactly legitimately earning alot of cR from not playing much? Are you sure you weren’t using network manipulation to reset challenges? That would cR ban you and cause you to derank.

This account is looking more like the one you talked about, Ms X Crywolf, not gRavybOaT224. Let’s take a look through your Halo: Reach Game History. I’m going to start at 08/07/ 2015 as that was when you first reported your ban and work a week back.
I am seeing some matchmaking games with 0 kills. On 08/07/2015, you have three games with 0 kills as well as two games you quit/were lagged out of/booted from. On 08/06/2015, you have two games with 0 kills and four games you quit/were lagged out of/booted from. On 08/05/2015, you have four games with 0 kills as well as one game you quit/were lagged out of/booted from. On 08/04/2015, you have six games with 0 kills as well as two games you quit/were lagged out of/booted from. on 08/03/2015, you have one game with 0 kills. On 08/02/2015, you have seven games with 0 kills as well as three games you quit/were lagged out of/booted from. On 08/01/2015, you have one game with 0 kills as well as one game you quit/were lagged out of/booted from.
Keep in mind that having your Spartan idle in a game habitually can get your cR banned as it is considered AFCing/AFKing, so the Automated Banhammer will consider 0 kills as AFKing. Within the last week, you have 24 games in which you have 0 kills and 13 games in which you quit/were lagged out of/booted from. That is a lot and that is why you have a cR ban. The game history doesn’t lie, take a look for yourself if you don’t believe me. Play out your games completely, earn kills, and don’t constantly betray other teammates once your ban is lifted to prevent these issues from happening again.

If this is the first ever Temp Credit ban you have received for AFKing in firefight then it should last 24 - 48 hours. If it is your second or third time you have been credit banned the ban could be 1-2 weeks.

Credit bans aren’t necessarily a question of doing anything wrong – there’s just a maximum limit to the number of credits you can earn each day. I don’t know what the situation is in your particular case, but sometimes that’s really all there is to it.

The daily cR cap is 200,000 cR. Hitting the cap would end the amount a player can earn for that day.
Players can still be issued cR bans by the automated banhammer for some actions, including:
-AFCing/AFKing (Away from controller; idling) repetitiously throughout many games in a short duration.
-Having 0 kills repetitiously throughout many games in a short duration (As the banhammer considers it AFKing/AFCing)
-Habitually Quitting games.
-Habitually being lagged out of games(As it is considered a quit)
-Habitually being booted from games(As it is considered a quit)
-Using Network Manipulation to reset challenges or reset cR cap (Usually also followed by a redaction of the cR earned this way, which can cause a derank)
-Habitually boosting commedations, cR, and/or Kill to Death Ratio throughout many games in a short duration (Good example of this is if you get 20+ assassinations for rear admiral 10-15 matchmaking games in a row). Depending on what was boosted, this can follow with a redaction of the cR earned this way, which can cause a derank.
Hello This may be a stupid question but why do you guys care if someone mods their rank like really whats so bad about it ? You have to understand that to get from recruit to Inheritor is insanely time consuming and not everyone has the time to do so the game is 5 years old now theres really no point in banning people for such stupidity. Id understand if it was like god mode or unlimited ammo in a pvp match, or invisibility, or super speed/jump but rank come on now that’s just bs I have a life I don’t want to spend like a whole year playing just to unlock a armor piece I want.

Because it’s against the Xbox TOS to mod/hack anything on your console. And that includes Reach. As you said, you’ve had 5 years to get to Inheritor. If you want the Haunted Helmet, work for it like everyone else.

I have looked through your Halo: reach game history and profile. You have no signs of modding, which is good, and you don’t appear to have from what I can tell any quits/laggouts/AFC(Away from Controller). From the way it sounds, the automated banhammer may have thought you were trying to use network manipulation to reset challenges. Actually doing so is against the Terms of Service you agreed to upon signing up for LIVE gold, however this sounds like a mishap. If this is the first time you were cR banned, it should last only 24-48 hours.
