I haven’t played Halo Reach in a year, and I come back to find my stats are gone and my Spartan is showed as a Recruit. Also I can’t connect to the Halo Reach servers. I don’t know what happened but someone told me I have been banned, and now I came here to ask it to be reversed. I really want to play, and I think as the hosts of Halo, you should help me. I’m a loyal gamer to 343 and Bungie. Please!

Good morning. Based upon your Halo: Reach service records, you have not been banned and are at Captain Rank. Halo: Reach can be glitchy with this at times, and from I can tell is usually caused when players with connection issues join together, or when a player tries to join a party using modded gametypes (As the game states something about not being able to join the first time due to ‘user generated content’). Best way to fix this is clear your system cache, and then restart Halo: Reach. That should fix the problem if you’re not joining up with friends who have NAT issues, Conflicting ISPs, or using modded gametypes in custom games (Which I would recommend staying away from).
If you are trying to join friends who have conflicting ISPs or NAT issues, have them join you instead. Sometimes as weird as it sounds, it fixes this potential problem. I hope this helps and have a nice day now.

Can you guys play Halo with no problem? Apparently I’m not banned but it seems like something similar to that. I just want to know if other people can play.

You should send a first warning and the reason why we should get ban BEFORE ban players.

Thought this thread had focused attention to the ban-happy moderators who banned me for innocent self-bump and “trolling”/“flaming”. They cant even supply proper links to show why you got banned. lol.
Best part: I’ve only been here for a few days.
Inb4 banned by Ka Five.

No such luck buddy. This thread is just for those that get banned in Matchmaking. Mods bans don’t have a thread but you can PM kaFive directly and ask him why you’re banned.
I was temporary console banned and credit banned last night. Not sure why, I have been credit banned for earning 200k credits and originally thought this was the case again, but then it said console banned. Can someone help me find out a few things please. Why? How long? How can I check my game history on this site? Thank you for your help in this matter. My gamer tag is TermiN1NJA
Good morning TermiN1NJA .
I looked through your Halo: Reach game history, and even though none of the matches would load up, there is enough evidence that you either quit or were lagged out of three games on 06/30/2015. You also have one Slayer game from 06/30/2015 with 0 score, which means the banhammer would see that as AFK/AFCing (Away from Controller). So four games of quitting and/or 0 kills could have caused the banhammer to swing.
Additionally, I see quite a bit of grifball. Since your games would not load for me, you wouldn’t happen to have guests with you in those games who get 0 kills? Any guest accounts are linked to your account, so if they get 0 kills, it is considered that your primary was AFK/AFC and counts against you. Also, you wouldn’t happen to be spawn-trapping players and killing them again and again throughout most, if not the entire game to boost your K/D(Or what AGLA players call stat-padding)?
If so, that also may be why you were temporary banned from earning credits, as you then would be exploiting the spawn system in Grifball to boost kills, K/D Ratio, cR, and commedations, which is cheating. Also in doing so, you are degrading the service of LIVE for other players and griefing the game, all of which is against the Code of Conduct you agreed to upon signing up for an Xbox LIVE account.
From Section F of the Code of Conduct: - “Do not exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches.”
From Section F of the Code of Conduct: -“Do not take any action to cause degradation of service for Microsoft or other users, including but not limited to network interference or manipulation.”
I hope this helps you out and I hope it is only because you quit/lagged out of and/or AFKed through four games. Have a nice day now.

Thank you so much for the information. I had one grifball game load up where I ended up starting the game being the only person in the game. My wife has been playing with me on the same console, but uses her xbox live account, I have not used any guests in my reach history. Also I don’t quit the games, or spawn camp (actually I am adamantly opposed to it, I cant stand when its done to me, so I refuse to do it to others). I figured out how to see my history and there was a few I couldn’t see either which was very strange.
Previously my wife and I played on separate xbox consoles, but since we have been playing split screen, we have noticed a lot of glitches, timeouts etc… I think this could just be my luck. Looks like I will just have to ride out the storm.
Again, I greatly appreciate the information you provided, thank you very much.

Good afternoon.
Well, I’m glad to hear that you weren’t trying to boost in any way, shape, or form and that you’re adamantly against spawntrapping to boost. Well, if you’re coming across alot of bugs, etc. split-screening, it could be your internet. There is a possibility that your internet cannot handle two people on one system, or that it isn’t fast enough generally speaking. If you have the second 360 and second television, I would recommend continue playing that way, so you don’t continue being lagged/glitched out of games, unless of course, you don’t mind spending more money on a higher internet speed/service…
Glad I was able to help you, and you have a nice day now.
