This sucks, so on halo reach im really really close to ranking up to mythic, which is a big deal for me cuz it takes a ton of cr to rank up at my level…so i got cr banned for idk how long, ive never been cr banned before. What happened is i had to go eat dinner so i was afk for a few games in grifball (maybe 2-4) then i get back on and play like 3 more games of grifball then go to firefight matchmaking to do a daily challenge, then about 7 min into the match, BAM! It says my council is temp banned from cr and my account is temp banned from cr, im really pissed cuz im superrrr close to mythic and ive been legend for 3 weeks and now i can get that little 10,000 to rank up…how do i get this ban off or how long is this ban going to last? Ive seen 24 hours around the internet…
I miss playing reach. When it first came out, me and all my friends played on a daily basis.
I have been credit banned for over what seems to have been 24 hours, I play a lot of grifball and usually do well and I have not done anything that counts for a ban. Any help?
It sucks they have no support. You can’t contact them and they tell you to post here where nobody reads your issues except people with the same issues. It shouldn’t be difficult to maybe raise the CR limit another 20k and change the ban time to maybe a week.

I personally don’t think it matters what i do with my paid online time. who does the banning? and why do they care? c’mon, its not the newest, greatest halo? if it were halo 4 and up i could see why people get banned…

I got credit banned for no reason absolutely none…I was making dinner and my son was checking out new maps with me in it as we were playing together…with none else… in custom games. What reason do you have to ban me? I’ve never once tried credit cheating…I suck as a player and its really hard for me to even get credits to level up. I don’t quit games I don’t do anything wrong at all. So what are you banning me for?

Hahaha Love it, I just wanted to throw this in the mix, my wife plays alot especially swat, and averages 5-6 kills per game, she has never been banned, because she doesn’t afk lol, she’s just not the best but she has her good moments, oh and i did get a 2 week ban on halo 3 for achievement boosting several years ago, haven’t done it since, don’t like cheaters, and me and my buddy only did it cuz we tried legitimately for 8 months with no luck, boosted them and voila 2 days later ban-hammer 2 weeks, learned my lesson.

I logged on to halo reach and I believe I received a file share ban I think. it might have been from something I downloaded but I just wanna know how long this will last. I am unable to play downloaded game types and maps, unable to use file share or theater. Ik this all happened for a reason im just wondering how long this ban lasts
hello and good evening. well the support team for xbox has lead me here after a week long wait. anyways my problem is i have been banned from halo reach online for changing my service tag. now what i mean is i changed it from a 4 digit allowance to a six digit. now since i do not threatnin nor harraass other gamers, i also do NOT kick people off line but i have been victim of all listed (my sister who is in online school had to retake a serious test for and thank GOD they let her) i did NOT think that i would get banned for something that is in NO way affecting others gameplay or is it a threat to other gamers and is simply a change to my profile that i believe i should be free to do whatever with. i love reach it is my favorite halo game out of the series and without it things have sucked 
please UNBAN me so i can get back to playing the game i love. oh hey and please stop banning those that dont deserve it and save it for the threats once again such as: people harrassing or threatning, kicking others offline etc.

Sorry but you broke the terms of service by modding your profile. Any sort of modding is not not allowed on Xbox Live, cosmetic or not. You’re going to have to take your ban I’m afraid as there is no way to reverse it

Exactly!!! Can anyone say it better???.. Modding, is different from being time efficient with Cr… They are two completely separate “Bans.” And all people like me want Just want to know is if the ‘temporary ban’ will be lifted? And When." I guess what I did was boosting, sure no arguments. but As a player who spent too much on HALO to think about not being able to play this game again when what i did was literally be time efficient within the window that the devs gave me… I would really expect and honest estimation at the bare minimum, and not have a TEMP Ban msg display Permanently.
Because relating to earlier, They are two separate things. Similar to the two types of bans.
Also, Take out an 8 party playlist-search in 8 player gamemodes… It the epitome of stupidity. How am i suppose to know playing with my friend will get me bannned in 8 party search… Why does an 8 Party Search even exist… Thanks for warning me dev??? Maybe if i knew id get temp banned, i wouldnt have searched. All ive learnt from this that devs just want people to stop playing…i wont be surprised when the only players in this game will be inheritors, with 1300 games, from custom challenge boosting… and everyone else is banned for 20games total on account.
Here is an idea why dont you remove the idea of banning people for playing 4games… and instead replace it with a system where all max ranks without 4500 games minimum Log in and get: PERMA BANNED… Thant might make more sense…
1+1… If my ban temp ban is permanent, ill either dig really, really hard in code of conduct to find a loop hole, or just never support this franchise again… since bungie sold halo its all been trbd anyways. No one even cares about this game anymore, I think the least they can do is not ban people for playing. ‘4 REAL’ Games, …im off to play pc… a game that ill never game banned for playing, battlefield. no matter how many years its been since release<I want to see anyone try to get banned for playing a EA game 4Real… I dont think that’s even possible.
