There are no Stats linked to this account name, xSp1derp1gxx, so it is impossible to advise you on why you are banned. What XBL gamertag has been banned.
Have been 10 min banned a few times over the last few days, for which I do not dispute. Had team killers and other a-holes ruining game, and I quit. Sucks that I get the punishment for them being jerks, but I quit. No problem.
Signed in tonight and had the same warning “don’t quit or else” message upon getting online. Fine. I figured I’ll play firefight where no one can really mess with me. I played 3 games of firefight tonight online. Once with 3 people, and two other games with 4 total.
It was a bit laggy at the start, and eventually people quit out. Some games had one other guy + me make it to the end, and 1 game had only me finish. Upon finishing the last game, the system banned me for quitting. Despite being on the final round of a firefight game getting my butt kicked by elites, I finished specifically so I DIDN’T have to deal with another ban.
Is there a known glitch or issue that causes this? I’ve about had it with this game banning me because other people quit, or punishing me because I don’t want to play with team killers and other a-holes. I generally despise Halo, but have had fun with this game, and this is quickly ruining my experience.
Any advice? Not that its anyone else’s problem, but if I get banned one more time for limited reasons, i’m done, and Bungie will never see another dime from me.

First of all i feel your frustration. Let me explain a few things that may help you.
You have worked out your on a quit probation. Any quit game, disconnection, or boot for betrayal will see you earn a 10 minute ban. The quit probation lasts for 48 hours from your last quit game so while on probation if you quit you reset the clock for another 48 hours. So once on probation dont quit.
Which brings me to your problem. While on a quit probation the only Firefight i would play would be Score Attack. You see there is in fact a glitch in FF that if the host quits the game everyone keeps playing but it is recorded as a quit game for all players. Even though you finish the game and earn credits the Banhammer wrongly sees this as a quit. FF uses a different network model to normal MM. This model is why host quitting results in a quit for all. Score Attack will stop that from happening because you are the only player in the game.
My best advice is walk away for 48 hours from the game while on your probation and once you return dont quit games. If your getting hammered just learn some HLG spots to hide until the game is finished.
Thank you for the advice - too few people thank those that reply and try to help.
That said, if the system is broken, and the best advice I can get is to simply not play because Bungie would rather ban players who get fed up with team killers and obnoxious a-holes rather than deal with the problem, then I agree. I’m done playing. I only picked it up with the free promotion to give the franchise another shot…and I’m disappointed that this is the result.
Its a shame, as the game itself was fun…but the community fun of 12 year olds and quitters (I’m not going to stay in a 4 vs 2 game just so I don’t “quit” and get spawn killed for 10 minutes straight) and Bungie’s uncaring attitude will keep me away from their products in the future.
Enjoy Destiny for those that play it. I’ll wait for the next Gears of War.

Before you throw in the towel completely head over to the recruiting forums and find some mature like minded guys you can party up with. If you are from Australia send me a friend request and come play with me and my mates.
I was banned from earning credits for no reason. I had been playing all evening and was in the middle of a Big Team Battle bomb-arming when I received the notifications. What the Hell? Frustrating part is, I was 15 kills away from a high-scoring challenge that would’ve pushed me up to the Lt. Colonel. You wasn’t cheating, but it doesn’t matter to Bungie anyway, because they don’t care. They’re not going to read this post, investigate the matter, and either help or disown my plea. Screw them for this. It’s is absolute and utter BS.

No investigation needed here buddy. You do realise there is a dailt credit cap of 200,000 credits that can be earnt in one day. 2 days ago you played a lot of Grifball and with the payouts you get in Grifball you would of hit the Credit cap easily.
Did the message say “this Account is temporaly Banned from Earning Credits”
It resets every night at midnight and then you can go and earn another 200,000 credits the next day. But hell its all Bungies fault who havent had anything to do with this game for over 2 years now.
Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew the times of the bans? I got banned on Sunday, I believe it’s my 2nd time. Long story short I was attempting to teach my kids how to play and my youngest didn’t catch on so I’m assuming the ban hammer saw that guest as afk. Either way if anyone knows the length of the ban or can give a rough estimate I’d appreciate it thanks
Constantly seeing afk’s (or afc’s in this case) how come they don’t get banned.Technically they are boosting if their team wins, such as victory bonus (I think) and game complete

You need about 3 to 4 games of AFKing close to each other for the Banhammer to pick it up and even then it only issue a temporary Credit ban that can be from 24 hours to 6 months depending how severe the offence and how many times you have been caught before.
The sad part is that most boosters know that they only need one Kill to avoid detection so they usually just get one kill then go away and hide somewhere.

2nd AFK credit bans are normally a week long. But if you keep playing with your kids getting no kills they can extend it. Just get one kill for them then give them the controller and let them play.

Also if you quit a lot of games. But I haven’t been banned yet.
I played 10 straight games of Rumble Pit with my friend, he’s not that good at halo so most of the matches he had 0-2 kills a game, and on the last game we played it said my account and console was temporarily banned from earning credits. Also this is the 2nd time this message has popped up. The first time is popped up it was probably for like a full day. Its been a week since I got banned the 2nd time, and it hasn’t been lifted yet. How long will that last if anyone has any idea?
My Ban On my account is legit, my little brother got on my account yesterday and boosted with his friends on Grifball. He uses my account often. Is there a way to know how long the ban will be? I know it cant be reversed just want to know exactly how long. Now he cant use my account anymore. just saying! haha
