Can someone just give me the reasoning for why im banned I do not feel at fault for anything I would like an inquiry to be made of this
Please can you tell me why my son has been banned from Halo reach? He knows another player reported him for having AIM BOT,when in actual fact he DOES NOT have it. I would like to know your views on this and why someone can be permanently banned just from one players grudge. Please can you e mail me or reply through this thread ASAP as this has been going on for too long.

Need more Information.
- What is the gamertag he plays on so i can look at his history. Your gamertag has not played since november last year in MM.
- What type of Ban is it. Banned from Matchmaking. Is it temporary or permanent. Does he have a ban from earning credits. or is he under probation and keeps getting 10 minute ban
I will add no one can report your son for using an Aimbot. They can report for tampering but beleive me when i say if he was using an Aimbot the Banhammer System would of picked it up within a day or 2 and permanently banned him.

No one from 343 will launch an inquiry to your Ban but can you tell me what type of ban it is and i will see if i can advise you as to why you’re banned. Is your ban from earning credits, a temporary ban from Matchmaking or a permanent ban from MM.
His gamertag is WhoseverThread0 spelt with a capital W and a capital T. He has been banned permanently from Matchmaking,but not from gaining credits or from quitting.When he goes into custom game he can’t play against his friends but can play alone. The ban is on his account and console.
If its not possible for someone to report him, is it possible someone has hacked his account and console?
My friend received the following message on Halo Reach:

He has not been boosting or doing anything wrong. Can you please explain what happened? His screenname is BouncyBook3.

Just got credit banned for the first time ever. I was playing with 5 year old son last night. He wanted to play Halo: Reach with me so I created a custom game so only he and I could play. Everything was going great, no problems. I told him to shut the console off after we finished playing and I put him to bed. I turned the game back on to play and received a message that I have been temporarily banned from earning credits and so has my account. Not sure how this happened, where to look to see why this happened or how long I will be banned for? Never created custom games before so I don’t know if it was something I did wrong in setting it up. Does anyone know where I can look up my gaming information and maybe find out why this happened?
I have had my Live account for 3 days and today I have gotten this message twice! “a temporary ban from Matchmaking for quitting” but I did not quit. Both times the match stopped in the middle and said it was loading the game and when it returned I was the only player in my party left and it said game over and then immediately gave me the ban notice. I am new to live and playing online and only want to have fun, but getting banned for nothing is ridiculous. Should I just stop playing Reach since I am getting screwed over anyway? I understand having rules to make gameplay more enjoyable but since the people at 343 don’t pay attention to their own system anymore how can they say it is infallible? the system is flawed.
I have had a look at the gamer history and the last time he played competitve MM on this account was November 2013. If the ban has just hit recently then i would say it was from something he was doing playing Halo 4. He had played that up until the 14th Feb 2014. If the ban hit about then he has done something in H4 to see the console banned totally. What he did i cannot tell. You would know if someone hacked your account as you would of had to recover the account to sign back in on your xbox. I suggest you have a caht to your son and ask him if anyone he played with where manipulating netowrk connections or did he play with anyone who had modified content. Or did he repeatedly quit game in H4 or boost for credits. All i can say is i dont think any thing your son has done playing Reach is the cause of your console ban. Sorry i cannot be more helpful.

Raven according to your stats you also had a guest playing with you on the 21st Feb. The same day you played customs with your son. Judging from the stats you must of played with the guest account and your son with the main account. The main account had quite a few games with zero kills.
The Ban hammer System detects zero kill games and treats them as AFK (ie: not playing the game)games and awards a temporary ban from earning credits. It lasts about 48 hours but if you continue to get detected it can go out to a week, then 2 weeks, then months and then perma bans for serious repeat offenders.
My advice is make sure that when you play with any novice on reach on a guest account make sure they get at least one kill per game to avoid detection by the banhammer even if you have to grab their controller to do it.

I cannot find any history under the name BouncyBook3.
See my response above to Raven as a possible cause. Temp Credit bans are usually only handed out for AFK games with zero kills. that is the system thinks you were not playing the game and just getting credits by being in it.

Unfortunately Sly fox any disconnect from a game due to laggin, Dashboarding or leave a game using the leave game option is seen by the system as a quit. It sucks i know but it cannot distinguish between a leave or quit. a boot for a betrayal counts as well.
Once on a quit probation and quit game will earning you a 10 min ban. The quit probation ends 48 hours after your last quit game. So i you quit a game right now it would reset 48 hours after that quit game provided you dont keep quitting otherwise the 48 hours start again. keep quitting and the probabtion can extend to longer periods as well.
My advice is talk to your ISP to check your internet is running ok. Forward all the relevent ports you need on your router for a better connection experience for your xbox. ( plenty on youtube on how to do that) once on a quit ban if you are still having connection problems dont play any games for 48 hours to avoid extending the probation and possible longer bans.

First off kid I’m the greatest. I have pros from H1-H4 in my list. Yeah a quit only shows up as in game. Never do people quit when they are winning. I never have host BTW. I get booted. [REDACTED] are all booters. Almost all my losses are from that. I know 7 other players banned. Look in my competitive waypoint. Noons that are neg dashboard. I don’t have a computer. I guess I’m booting kids off my tablet now. My parents even monitor me. So people go omg -Yoink!- when they match me and them and their teammate dashboard to avoid a ban. Which all of the people who boot me can’t do it that fast. I’ve done my homework on it even. It takes around 40 seconds if you are good. Aka impossible in 15 seconds. I don’t play anymore and I will 15-0 yopu with a blindfold. Glad you never looked at my waypoint. Please worker of 343 email me at [EMAIL REMOVED]. BTW you need good internet to boot. I use the hot spot from my phone. I came here again because Microsoft support was disgusted that a worker didn’t talk to me. Modding any content on your Xbox is a violation of your agreement you made with XBL when you accepted the terms of the agreement. Your ban is from Microsoft and not 343 or Bungie so you need to plead your case with them. Sorry but noone on these forums can help you.
I was playing halo reach matchmaking swat with my fiance and we accidently betrayed one of our teamate because we were trying to “yoink”. We got booted out and we were automatically banned for “quitting” but we dont ever quit matches. Can you please fix this? Thank you.
