My son and I Were playing tonight and we got a ban message. Not quite sure why. Researching here, I see it was probably because we left a few games when no one joined us on co-op mode. (We didn’t want to just play with the two of us - we can do that without being on Live). And we played a few other co-op games and really stunk at them. He’s only 7 and isn’t super good. How long will this ban be? If we continue to try and play, and continue to play crappy with now kills, can we really be banned for life?

TinkTink519 i shall try and explain why you have a ban.
Generally credit bans are handed out for AFK activity. What i mean by that is the system that detects cheating thinks you were not playing the game and just sitting idle in a game and being awarded credits just for your team finishing. The system that detects this is called " the Banhammer" and if it sees a few zero kill games against your name or another account you have signed in on the same xbox or a guest account it issues a temporary ban from earning credits against the console.
In your game history you have a few games with zero kills. Even if you quit those games before getting a kill it still records it as a zero kill game. Alternatively has your brother played on this account and committed simlar offences as that would see you getting a credit ban as it is actually applied to the Console and not the account.
343 usually give a 2 day ban for first time offences but if you continue to have zero kill game the ban extends to a week. then 2 weeks and longer bans to permement bans from earning credits for serious repeat offenders.
My friend had my login info and he thought it would be a good idea to mod my service tag, and now im banned from matchmaking. I put my heart and soul into this game in order to get to inheritor including playing for days on end, but all of that will be for nothing if I can’t play on this account anymore! I basically had my account hijacked!

I mean I justed got a new xbox 360 system yesterday and that got rid of the sign saying my xbox 360 console has been temperarly banned by earning credit but it justed still saying that and showing that my account is still banned by earning credit so I realy want to know how long do I got to wait to get this rid off out of my xbox 360 because yesterday I justed got myself a new xbox 360 and that I am justed waiting for my banned to be gone so that I can rank up again and keep going to reach the highest rank but yeah I’m justed waiting so that I can get credit again and rank up again and to enjoy this game of halo reach and too continuely follow my code or condect so yes halo waywpoint I realy want your support and help because I need this realy bad and that I don’t think I did any wrong to get this for can you please help me sir, because I mean I feel like I didn’t do anything wrong in halo reach or any game in this matchmaking in halo reach so I feel like I am banned for no reason so I need all your support to help me to recover my account back in halo reach i’m right now noble and again I know I say this a lot about my rank but I haven’t reach the highest rank that people got in this game in halo reach but realy I would do anything to die for this unbanning for my account because I realy want to enjoy this game realy bad and to enjoy it and to play the game right, but mostly and always I follow the code of condect which for me you can’t cheat or can’t boost or can’t mod your game or can’t heck your game other wise I know that I and all of us who does these thing should get banned but for me I do not do those things because I do not know how to do these thing and thank god I do not know how to do these things because they get you in trouble in the game so again that why, I do not to these thing again because I do not know it how to do these thing again and I repeat the same thing because honest I do not know how people are doing this these in the game its realy I do not like it people who does these thing so yeah halo waypoint I do not ever cheat or boost or heck or mod because I always love to keep my account salf and too follow the code of condect forever in my life if I ever want to keep my account so yea sir I do not do these thing because I mean it man, sir

I just got banned because I customized my name (not very smart and totally useless I confessed …) but I find that the permanent ban is a bit overkill for the current location. I am player since 2010 I wonder if there would be possibility of a second chance.
