You dont get banned from earning credits for " days" if you leave/quit games. You get put on a 48 hour probation and any quit games during that probation will results in a 10 mins ban.
What you do get a credit ban for is what the system detects as AFK ( not playing sitting idle) activity. A quick look at your game history reveals game after game where you played Grifball and got zero kills in lots of games. The system will give you a credit ban of about 48 hours for first offence, up to a week for second offence and then longer for subsequent offences leading to a permanent ban for reapet offence.
In your game history i looked at least at 20 games without you getting a single kill. You are either AFKing or the worst grifball player ever. If you genuiely played in those games and got no kills them i would go and play FireFight because you sir are on the road to a perma ban.
I have been banned from halo reach for no reason, can anyone help me? A person on our family membership Xbox live was banned which banned everyone on the family account. their ban has been lifted but ours is still stuck on banned. Why is this and how can it be fixed. Its not fair that we cant earn our points when we did nothing but have a family pack with the person. Help?
i was banned from reach online i was wondering if i can be reversed because i cant play reach at all now even though i had to go through 5 discs until i decided to buy it from the marketplace and then about 3 months later i get banned i really don’t want to get banned and i promise next time i wont mod.
OOOpps I forgot to reread to see if it made sense but it didn’t . I have Bought 5 games pre owned obviously,they would always break in the middle and i would ALWAYS have to buy a new disc,after realised that buying a new one wasn’t fixing the problem,so i decided buying the game off Xbox live market place would be the right thing to do, since it would save me money down the road from the destroyed game discs.there was only one problem with that,that it only worked with my account,i know there is a such thing as licence transfer but when i sign out while in halo reach it says it will go to dashboard unless i sign in to an account that has bought halo reach its impossible to by pass i’ve tried everything.so i was wondering if i could beg to be unbanned i just want to start playing reach i will never mod or violate the rules again.please i just want to play online

I feel your pain. I play with my sisters. Your best bet is to let the ban pass, waiting it out till it expires. If you can’t wait, play mostly custom games with your fam. You can’t earn bans their and you will all get better practice. After some time you should all be good enough to avoid the “0 kill credit ban”
Unfortunately the part about bans effecting the entire Xbox is needed, otherwise people who get a ban would just switch accounts and continue their offenses. I suppose by punishing the innocent it gives living “in-home” motivators for the offender to do their best as well.

Deak Awoke dont waste your time pleading your case here. This forum is not monitored by anyone at 343 or XBL that can lift bans.They are automatic and permanent with no right of reply. The only people that respond to posts here are other gamers like yourself whom are just trying to help folks out from what we have seen and learnt. If you are banned for Modding your Xbox content then you will probably find your ban is from XBL and not 343i as modding is a breach of your XBL terms and conditions.
BTW dont repsond to the other guys question about what you modded because talking about modding is in breach of the rules of the waypoint forums and could see you banned from here too.
I can only suggest that when you buy a new XBOX One get a new account too and start over fresh and never ever mod your Xbox that you play online with.
alright well i did mod it was the ultra white and the service tag.i know also that it was 343i im not allowed in halo reach to play online with anyone and even systemlink is banned too,so i can only play with myself;/.
So I was playing with my friend and she was a guest on my account and I then got temporarily banned because I was doing so well and she barely got one or two kills…I wasnt boosting and i wasn’t cheating because I dont know how to so could that be why i got credit banned on my console and account? And this is the first time it popped up so does that mean it’ll go away in 24 hours?

0 kills… Not one or two. If you wish to check for yourself your records are public in this site. 0 kills triggered the 0 kill credit ban. Read more of these posts for more info

Adding to what TimZaRob said above Credit bans are usually 24 to 48 hours for first offence. Subsequent offences lead to longer bans of weeks up to 2 months and repeat offenders will get a permenant ban on earning credits.
If you want to continue playing with your friend I suggest that you use her controller at the beginning of each game and get a kill for her and then swap controllers back. It doesnt matter how many times your friend dies as long as she records one kill she wont be caught by the Banhammer.
Hey there. Add me on to the list of unearned automated bans. I play as an honest player, and have not done anything within the guidelines I am aware of for banning to get banned. I have contacted Xbox support, and they informed me that I should post a reply here. But in all seriousness, I actually did not violate the codes of conduct, and I just want this ban lifted before I miss the weekly challenge. If you guys could help, I’d really appreciate it.
Actually, on that note, if the ban cannot be lifted, could I at least be informed as to the duration of the ban and the reason that I have been banned. That way I can avoid this situation in the future.
To answer your question i would recommend you stop playing with Big Clay. Looking at your game history their are 4 of you that play alot of SWAT together. I presume that you are all playing on the same console or that big Clay is on Xbox. Unfortunately Big Clay has a bunch of ZERO kill games shich will trigger a credit ban.It will effect his account and yours and any others playing on that Xbox. Fist time bans are about 48 hours with second offence and subsequent offence occurring bans of a week up to a month and permanent bans for repeat offenders.
If that is not the case then i can see no other reason for your ban.
Getting tired of this ban… Basically I got banned for 2 weeks and now it’s been 2 weeks and 4 days. I still play on the account even though I don’t earn credits, I don’t know if that causes the ban to not start or what.

What is the GT that has been banned and is the ban from Matchmaking or Earning Credits. If i look at Bloodthirsty101’s game history you havent done much to warrant a ban so is it another account.
I don’t know what I did… I just went on one day and it said I was banned. I don’t care about getting the ban, It’s the fact that I am still banned to this day since the 18th of July.

If the Ban is a credit ban then you can still play Reach but just wont earn credits for the games you complete.
I am asking what type of ban it is so i might be able to tell you how long it may last. When you first sign into Reach what message does it say. is it " this account is temporarily banned from earning credits" or this account is temporarily banned from matchmaking" or is the word temporarily not in the message.
Also is the account Blood thirsty the one that is banned or is it another account.
