Lol, my girlfriend just got credit banned… she has 15 total kills and several hundred deaths. “why did I get credit banned!”
If you are getting 0 kills, I am sorry but if you are not getting kills you are NOT PLAYING HALO. If you are not going to play halo, you will earn 0 credits. No work, no pay.

Today I had to recover my account for it was stolen and they did something to my account I don’t know what all I know is when I started to play halo 4 with my friend he said my service tag was changed from my normal which is JOSH to O__O I played 2-3 games and then I was cut off and my console was perma banned. I talked to XBL chat and they said to contact you guys and they are going to investigate my account. I bought the limited edition for a lot of money I wouldn’t risk losing the ability to play to some dumb modding tricks. I am currently investigating the loss of my account with xbl but I should not be banned for this. If there is anything that can be done please let me know. Thanks. Also If I could be told what the duration of the ban is please.

She is new to the halo world and isnt much of a gamer. I saw something for the idea of “boosting”, but that isnt the case. She only gets to play here and there. It’s always Swat mode. I’m sorry if by chance myself and the team(minus her) do well and she by chance benefits from it, but there should be no reason of a full on ban as well as a console ban. She is a bad player, but enjoys playing none-the-less. Even dieing a lot.

So I just played a game of BTB two flag. before the game started two red team players dropped. Then before the game even loaded one player from blue team dropped(my team) and the scoreboard popped up and at the bottom it read “starting game” for about 5 minutes. It then dropped everyone from the game and gave me a win. It also gave me a ban for “quitting”. Why was I banned, and how is it quitting a game if I was credited for the win?
i have been notified that i have been banned from using voice on my xbox live account for one week.
1st off… i dont know why i was banned to begin with. i have a kinect and i imagin that i was unaware that it was picking up my voice ect… since then i have muted my kinect mic hoping that will resolve the issue.
2ndly… it has been about 3 days longer than a week now and it is still saying i am banned for one week… im really frustrated on the lack of resourses in regards to why i am banned personaly, why it has not lifted yet, and what i would need to do if anything to get it lifted. i, aswell as many other CUSTOMERS pay a monthy fee in order to get the bennifits for this game… after reading the forums from halo, it just seems like your stance is just “welp you got banned deal with it” but what if you were wrongfully banned and then the ban is not lifting at the designated time frame? i cant find anything on my profile saying why i was banned and why im being denied the services i am paying for! and then to top it off! your auto ban dosnt even un-ban when it says it will, o yea and then there is absolutly no way to contact anyone at live to try and resolve this! serisoly how can you run a business this sloply! i know you like to think that your auto ban system is flawless and therefor dosnt need any customer service or is just plain is flawless, well im here to tell you it isnt and if i dont get some sort of resolution on this i really feel that the only thing that will wake the powers that be up is a stupid lawsuite based on the grounds that i am being denide services that i am paying for without any documented cause and or evidince of breaking the terms and connditions (personally) and then being banned for longer then the term states when you are banned! SERIOUSLY FIX THIS ISSUE!
Hi My gamer tag is deputieswife09 I’m a married mom of 7 and a proud grandma of 2. I play so I can have fun with my kids who are in various states. The sad thing is that this is my second credit ban. Both of which I have no idea why. I definatly am not moding anything as I have no clue how or cheating of any kind as again i dont know how. I die often not from any kind of credit boosting. (i just recently learned of this due to trying to figure out what the hell happened)but because of the fact that , that My enthusiasum and love for playing is there just my skill level isn’t up to my rank level unfortunatly. Also the people I play with on my console are newcomers as well who have recently joined the halo community and instead of being weloomed and encouraged we are banned because once again we are reminded WE SUCK we because we dont get the high kill ratio that many others do on our team. trust me we would love to. Im really beyond pissed right now as this is not right in so many ways that we get penalized. we havent done anything wrong other than not been as good as someone else. Trust me its not from lack of heart or trying. I would Like an answer back as to why I had no warning or even notification or explanation or this stupid credit ban. its ridiculous in every sense of the word.

You are not being punished however you are indeed being denied a reward. If you indeed play for fun, then credits/armor/rank shouldn’t bother you so much. But if these rewards are desired, basic skills should be your first order of business. To avoid this ban in the future you only need 1 kill per game, regardless or how many deaths. 0 kills will earn you a credit ban. Again, this ban is to remind you that practicing some basics is more important than credits.
If you think this is still some kind of harsh punishment, think of the teammates you are holding back when you score zero kills. Having you on their team punishes their records ( even if you don’t care about your record, they might)
Credits are a currency to be earned. A Spartan’s job is to be lethal. No work, no pay. No kills, no credits. Again, all you need is one singular kill per game to avoid this credit ban.
my xbox says "this account has been banned from using voice online for one week "but my xp hasn’t been going up either and its been over a week already and still nothing i haven’t done nothing to get banned i dont even wear head set it isnt my fault microsoft has made this as sensitive as they have and it isn’t fair i dont want no one to hear whats going on at home either will im online so i believe this issue needs to be over turned or addressed cause it cost me money to play and no one should be able to ban me for not doing nothing.
It’d be nice to get a respond back as to what the heck my gf and I did. Its sickening that we pay for a service that we can’t fully enjoy. It’s been over a week and my console and both of our accounts are still banned from earning credits.

Can’t help you because you didn’t describe you ban? Not allowed to play matchmaking? Can’t earn credits?

I see nothing wrong here… As you say she is not that good at playing. While she is banned she should keep training. She will get better and the ban will eventually where off. But as long as she keeps earning 0 kills, she will continue earning o credits. She is not banned from playing.
So then why did I receive a Console and personal account temporary ban from earning credits? I know we were both on the same xbox, and she was doing that bad, but does that really mean I should be punished? Just the ban system kinda makes me that curious.
