My console has been temporarily banned from earning credits in Halo Reach. There was no explanation of why and no explanation for how long my console has been banned. Could someone please help me out?
ok so here is the deal. the ban for my credits was lifted yesterday so i pplayed with my friend (he was a guest) on a team so i wouldn’t get banned. He went home and i played by myself for another game. during that game it said i was temporarily banned from earning credits. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING

Look at your game history here on waypoint… Look at what he scored.
I keep getting banned and have no clue as to what ive supposedly done other then kinda sucking at the game im new and still learning shouldnt you at least tell us what were doing so we can try to fix the problem instead of banning every other day and if its because of getting 0 kills its kinda wrong im not afk i just dont do very well you need to have a better reason for banning then that

If you saved this footage I would be very interested in seeing it. I’ve been testing with friends trying to get “0 kills” on purpose without going AFK… it’s almost impossible.
Rules for the test. 1) Must shoot enemy if you know they have shields 2) if you brake their shields then you must run away, must earn 0 kills 3)Cannot be AFK 4) if you accidently get a kill, you must try to win.
If you honestly get 0 kills in matchmaking and have NOT gone AFK, put it in your fileshare and share it. Hell, I may even cap it for you if it was an honest game… not just hiding in a corner somewhere doing nothing.

Melissa: Let me see if there is another website where you can post for this game. Here in General support we only have access to stuff with your console not working or issues with billing on your account or if you are having problems connecting to Live. We have no information about account specific or game specific bans.
BRADY: Thanks. I’ve had connection problems with Reach before but nothing like this. Is it possible that someone has hacked my account and done something to it?
Melissa: Unless you received a message about someone being signed in on your profile somewhere else, I doubt it was compromised.
BRADY: Ok, that’s good.
Melissa: If you haven’t played in a long time, it could have been stuff you did in the past. If you had connection issues where you were being disconnected from games that may have caused this.

Again, I have had no actual problems (Like ban/probation/warnings) of any kind in Reach before, so I dont know what I could have done in the past. Also, I have not been being disconnected. I mean like connection problems as in at some points not letting me join matchmaking because of problems with my internet.
BRADY: Like I was just in the middle of like my 5th game and it suddenly popped up the error message like 5 times in a row “Your account has been temporarily banned from receiving credits”

I can see your confusion and I’ll tell you simply… You recieved two seperate bans. Fist, you earned a quit ban. That only lasted 15 min and happened a long time ago… that ban ended but you just barely recieved the message. However you also recieved a credit ban more recently. I have no clue why but that ban should go away in a day or two.

my gamertag is bigbluejamee003 and got a message saying myyxbox is temporarily banned. i have no clue why or for how long. can anybody tell me why?

I was temporarily banned from gaining xp on halo 4. i was playing halo 4 and this window popped up saying “this account has been temporarily banned from gaining xp.” (exact wording) i didnt use the moutain dew double xp caps at all i just played the game and got banned out of no where from gaining xp. if you cn help me please do cause this ban is stupid.

I have been playing some online lately with my 10 and three year old sons. They are not the best players in the world. And there has been times they have quit early, and others when they have got little to no kills. I woke up today to find that i have been temporarily banned from earning credits. It doesnt say how long I am banned… and i was just wondering if letting my kids play has caused this situation. How long does this ban last? If you can help I would appreciate it.
i got banned cause those idiots run towards my opponent when i threw a gernade, and its not my fault,then the person banned me should get banned too, i love halo, but this is ridiculous, i pay so much a month on membership and credits and still get banned, i dont’ quit games regardless our team is losing, but its not fair, and if thats the case xbox live should credit me for not playing those days when i like to play, lmao this is crazy

Really? I understand the frustration when. I played one game where I betrayed 4 times! I stick an enemy and then my teammate goes in for like a hug or something? Nd guess what happened? Nothing… Because every time I betrayed a teammate I got an enemy kill too. Your ban lasted 15 min… Instead of posting, it would have been more productive to take that time to practice with grenade in custom games. Accidents happen, but make sure your accidents also hit the enemy please. This problem of yours will fade with experience.
