I’ve been credit banned and I’m wondering the length of time until its lifted it’s been 5 days.
I’m not trying to say I didn’t deserve to be banned. Even though I don’t agree that you should be banned for what I did. I wasn’t impacting any other players fun or gameplay. I was in my own party in rumble pit.
i was curious to why i am not receiveing credits on halo reach
So last night i had some of the family round, and seeings halo 4 is out soon we thought we would brush up our halo skills. so there was four of us in total me (sosuperfly1) my father-in-law (erickviking01) and my brother-in-law (G6 BO55) and his 5 year old daughter playing guest. i no what you thinking why are you letting a 5 year old play and we it’s quite simple really it stops her wondering around and she really enjoys it.
im guessing the reason we all got banned is that the guest (a 5 year old) wasn’t actually able to kill anyone apart from and the start of every game in the back of the head. but all she did was wonder around getting killed and shooting everything but over plays and just being general canon fodder.
so no because we were nice and made a child’s evening we are all being penalised for it which i think is unfair, i know they ban people for having an afk player consistently but she wasn’t afk at any point. granted she didn’t get any kills but she was moving at least.
so is there any way to have this pointless suspension lifted? 343 just sort it out i’ll send you pictures if your not convinced!!

My son, gamer tag, GrubbiestFiber2 received a message when login into XBOX Live Halo Reach that his console had been banned. Can you please let us know why he was banned and for what time he is banned.

My father got temporarily banned from recieving credits, gamertag anolddude1, and hes not sure why. He sucks at it but its the only game he enjoys playing. It took him about 2 years but hes finally a forerunner and he wants to reach the top. So i was just hoping that a bungie official or somebody could respond back and explain why he was banned and how long it will be before he gets unbanned. So please get back to me. Thank you

i came to this page because some of my friends where banned and I was hopeing to help them out by telling them how long they would be banned but unless I skipped some stuff i don’t think it says what the ban time is per ban. (might wana put that in their.

All three of your accounts seem to have been credit banned for being AFK. Note that Reach can’t actually detect if your AFK, so it has to guess: if you get zero points over the course of several recent matches, then it assumes that you AFK’d in those matches, and gives you a credit ban.
I’m not a 343i employee, so I don’t know how many matches it took to trigger your bans, or how long each of you are banned. I also do not know if certain playlists or gametypes are exempt from AFK detection, so some of the matches I link below may be irrelevant.

These were actually spread out quite a bit, so I’m not completely certain that your ban was an AFK ban.

MAN I SUK77 is my previous account. After I gained 100% completion on all Halo game achievements, I passed the account off to my little brother and created a NEW account which is this one, ForgedExodus .
Now earlier today, My little bro and I were playing some Annv. With a few riends of mine. I was going after the Annv Achievements such as the thee haedshot one and CTF sticky one.
My brother on the otherhand, being of the age 9, was running around aimlessly trying to look up and walk at the same time. He got REALLY lucky in one game, managing to get 4 kills. Other then that, it was 0 kills and a few deaths each game. (5 games)
While I understand that the Ban detector is a bot, and can not judge afkness and noobishness, I feel slighted, in the fact that ForgedExodus was Cr banned, and not by little bro.
That and them essage never told me how long it would be banned.
My console has been temporarily banned from getting credits on Halo Reach. It has been more than 24 hours and I am still banned. It happened once before and lasted lest than 12 hours. Why is this happening? I am not a dirty gamer or a cheater.

Hello, While I know its not “The right way” to Rank up. I just found out about the Custom Challenges etc, and how people hit the credit cap through campaign everyday. Are you actually able to be banned for doing Custom Challenges over and over till the credit cap?

So, first off, I will say that I did deserve this ban. I was trying to boost some defiant and annv. achievements (no thanks to a lack of DLC playlists) with a friend of mine, and up pops a cRedit ban message. It popped up throughout 3 games before I quit. Three days later (today), I check and I am still banned. After reading a bit, I thought the first cRedit ban only lasts 12-24 hours, with a second offense a week, and 3rd offense perma-ban.
Yes, I deserved it, but when can I expect to start earning cRedits again?
I dont get it? I have and still am being credit banned. I checked my game history and last time I played was sept 30th and on that day I only played like a dozen games…how the hell does a dozen games cap the limit? Did they ban the wrong person?

The bans are automatic. I didn’t look too much into your history and I’m sorry but saying you last played on September 30th is incorrect. There are several games between yesterday and the 30th of September. I saw a couple with a guest that had 0 kills so it’s possible you were hit for an AFK ban.
So Halo 4 is coming out soon so me and my friends on xbox live have started playing Halo Reach again to get ready for Halo 4, we are all really excited. Any ways we played all night last night (oct 10 2012) till about 12 am or so. Well to my surprise this morning when i went to get on (since i take school online and they don’t i get the challenges while they are at school) and i got a message saying i was banned from earning credits for two weeks. Now normally i would say whatever and play something else but halo reach is all that we have played for the past week or so, ive read allot of these posts but i wasnt away but one game at one point lasnight and i came back near the end and got like 6 kills or something in team swat the only other thing i think could have happened was i got banned for that disconnecting from xbox glitch i did that a long time ago and didnt get banned it was like a year ago i would say. One of the daily challenges was to get 100 kills with the assault rifle in campaign i got like 80 on normal winter contingency and my friend texted me and told me about the highest medal in the game it was like 1000 kill streak or something so i wanted to get that so i put it on easy got half way threw the level before i realized it didnt count so i loaded up Winter contingency normal on rally point bravo and i got just about to like 97 or 98 or so and a friend came online so i saved and quit and i asked him if he wanted to play he said no so i went to load it back up and resume campaign but my xbox froze or locked up or something so i turned it off and i took reach out of the tray and put it back in and hit play and loaded campaign up again and got my 2 or 3 kills. Thats the only possible explanation i can come up with for why im banned for 2 weeks i understand why i got banned why the system banned me but it was an unfair ban and i wouldn’t really care except the game isn’t very fun for me unless im leveling up and i wanna have fun and play with my friends today when they get home from school.
Sorry for the long post i just thought the more info i gave the more info i would receive back 
i really hope someone can help unban me, if its a couple days ban im ok with that its whatever but 2 weeks is insane
