It’s not flawed. Lagging out from a game is still a quit no matter what, same when you get booted.
I let my four year old play, so i am punished with a ban. she gets alot of negitives due to suicides, screw this i payed and pay good money. for Xbox halo and the whole anyone wanna buy, playstation is calling me. angry reader, player

I have to agree with SHEPZERO; in my opinion, it does have flaws, as shown by many of the previous posts… and in my example with the Firefight, you shouldn’t be banned for trying to do something they offer. Now that I look at it, playing it over and over could be seen as credit farming since you get credits easily in it, which is what I’m assuming caused the ban. However, during challenges like I said, there should have been something to recognize the player is attempting to get them done, and ignore how many credits they get along the way. But this is my opinion; anyone else’s view could be different. This is mine.
As for 343 making the system better, I don’t think that will happen soon, if it all. I’m sure they have a lot of work to do on the Halo 4 server at the time being. If they come around to fixing it, it will not be any time soon.

I’m not sure if i am banned or what, but i am not receiving any credits for completing games for some reason. I have reached the daily credit limit a number of times this week, due to being sick and having nothing to do but play halo. I reached it today, and when the new daily challenges came out, i went to play some more, thinking the credit limit would be lifted and i could continue earning my credits. But to my surprise, i am still not earning credits.
Is the credit limit supposed to be reset at the same time as the daily challenges? This was my understanding, and i am afraid that i may have been banned. I haven’t received any messages at all. I am really confused…
My gamertag is PlayinForK33ps and I was playing with a guest the other day and was credit banned.
Though my guest was a first time player and averaged 0-2 kills per game, I was leading the scoreboard more often than not.
My guest was active, however badly she played, and I was contributing to the team : Why was I banned?
I have quite a few videos in the theater proving we weren’t idle.
I recently got banned because I had my daughter play swat with me and she never gets any kills and I get banned? What the eff. So basically it means if you suck don’t play??? This needs to get fixed I don’t think it’s ok. I don’t even get a message when the ban will left either so what can I do? I hate that I know have to tell my daughter she can’t play cuz she basically sucks or I get banned so stupid.!!!

The ban hammer goes solely off kills in terms of bans for AFKing.
There is no appeal process.

Just stick to Custom Games, Forge, Firefight & Campaign until she can get at least one kill a game to avoid bans.

i was playing firefight matchmaking the other day when a message popped up on my screen in the middle of my game saying i was being banned from earning credits. I dont know why i have been banned, i have received 10 min bans in the past long ago… but never a 24 hour ban, i would just like to know why i am being banned and for how long, so I can prevent this from happening in the future thank you
So I am Banned for the first time ever. Was it because i stopped playing to help my niece with her chore and was idle for one game? If so I think it is pretty stupid

I was playing Halo this past weekend (gamertag McWelder) with my 10 year old daughter (Gamertag DeadlyK1tt3n) - she has just started playing Halo, NO KILLS which then resulted in a credit ban to my game console. Because the system views this as AFK when a gamer gets no kills. Seriously. I pay all this money for xbox live account - games - dlc and you say you can’t remove the bans or give any definite answer as too how long it will last…or that you can’t remove the bans. Which I find hard to believe. Seriously pissed off customer…Gee and I preordered and paid already for my Halo 4 Limited Edition, Halo 4 Xbox and Halo 4 Tritons…seriously this is how it going to go?

I played a few matchmaking games with a AFK guest because I get tired of getting paired up with people who always get in my way or just run out and die all the time.
Yeah I went into a few Rumble Pit games but you can check my recent games I was killing other people in the game. I happen to come across my guest and I killed him. I am sorry but I don’t boost maybe the Auto Banhammer thought i was boosting. I am just tired of getting worthless people on my team. Please check out my recent games thank you!
I mean I think you need to have people watching the games and doing the banning instead of a Auto Banhammer.
Those are the cardinal sins, unfortunately. I know whenever the phone rings (or dealing with a family matter) I worry about AFKing and getting a ban…

For the last 2 days i get a message when I log in saying my console has been temporarily banned and I cannot earn credits. I dont have any clue why this happened is there any way I can find out why.
hello i got banned for 0 kills for some games my little daughter played shes 3 and i put her into rumble pit i shouldnt get banned for this she just likes to play like her daddy so now i have to pay for it which is kinda of stupid if this banhammer is gonna keep this up then i guess i will not play halo anymore
To some limits, I agree. There have been times where Ive been simply overwhelmed, especially early on in my halo gaming experience that I had a few matches with 0 kills. For the most part I still suck, but sometimes, the banhammer seems overly sensitive. There should be some accommodation in regards to a player’s skill/ stats etc.
Why did I get 0 kills? Because I suck that’s why.
So I feel for ya.
