I play a few games today, and i had my litle brother and his friend playing with me, and yes they SUCK if I can say so. they killed like 3 guys in like 6 games, and fro that I got credit banned, guys the bannhammer thout i was cr boosting or something, My gamertag is krilletheman93, and the 2 guests are my brother and his friends in the resent games.
Day 5 and IM STILL BANNED! WHAT THE HELL WAS I BANNED FOR -Yoink!-!? Through all the forums ive read here, all these big shots reply to folks stating why they got banned…yet they seem too afraid to tell me how my account and console is temporarily banned!

They were FFA games and they did not affect any other players. It was not even network manipulation, it was their glitch where you sign out one of the guests and you end up in your own private FFA game. Thank you for this topic in the forums. I talked with a couple of reps over at xbox for a couple of hours and it was in their opinion that in this transition time since March that this is probably the best place for me to post. My question is more a why than anything? I know from what I read in the topic post that nothing will be overturned. I have just been extremely frustrated since last week. I know from reading online some of the things that can get you credit banned and if I had done something wrong I would be in no objection of a punishment. However I was just playing a regular game of matchmaking team swat with two of my friends and all of a sudden the message of being banned came up. We were not doing anything shady at all. I am wondering why the ban and for how long. Also xbox customer support told me I should also inquire as to you and how might things be made up to me if it is determined that this ban was placed in error. So I know that is really long and I apologize, but I am just really bummed cause I just got back into playing and some of my friends went out and bought the game just so we could play together and it definitely not the same if your not earning credits. Thank you for your help.

Your game history looks weird to say the least. I usually post three or four games that are indicative of cheating. With yours it is just that you are really THAT bad or that you just aren’t trying. You are remarkably consistent in coming out with double-digit (or near-DD) kill spreads. That is tough to do as TrueSkill should keep moving you down in skill until it matches you with people of a similar skill set. Also, the Banhammer searches and finds team-killers. While this isn’t immediately apparent with your case, if you’ve been shooting your own team and draining shields to leave them for the other side then the Banhammer will eventually catch you.
In all, the low BPR and the fact that you seem persistently unable to grab more than one or two kills would tend to indicate that you may be AFKing matches, which is a rapid route to getting banned and eventually credit reset. Any of these are possibilities given the oddity of your game history. My money is on AFKing as I can’t see HOW you could get the game history you have if you were actually trying.

hi how do i talk to about the credit ban? i was doing achievement with a view friends and i had a few guest, they never got killed, and when they did i killed a few people with the guest account. i was not boosting but you guys think i was. so who can i talk to about getting the credit ban lifted?

Holy crap! In all the time I’ve played Reach, I’ve never had any ban and have never even heard of a boost ban. That was until yesterday when I got the messages:
“This Xbox 360 console has been temporarily banned from earning credits” and
“This account has been temporarily banned from earning credits”.
Before Halo 4 arrives, I have made it my mission to complete all the achievements and hopefully reach the rank of Inheritor, as have decided many others. Currently I am a Noble (and have done it legitimately) and I’m busting my -Yoink- to get as many cR as I possibly can. But as you all know, it’s a very slow process, especially when you are higher up on the table. So yes, I decided to boost, and yes it was wrong, but it was only for my achievements. I had 8 left to go, all DLC stuff. It was hard enough to get the required maps in the playlists BEFORE the most recent upgrade, now it’s made it increasingly more difficult and still not all people have the DLC. Making achievements that require specific DLC is stupid in my opinion and I’ve come across oh-so-many others who agree.
17 games and 4 hours to get only 4 achievements, and I got the ban messages a few times, plus I was using my brothers console (with his permission of course) who also got the messages multiple times, so now we both suffer for who knows how long…
I appreciate the fact that 343 have brought in Super Jackpot Weekends, but perhaps offer a few more playlists to choose from (because playing Firefight is a major bore for me), maybe even increase the cR bonus and perhaps make the Super Jackpot not just for weekends, make it everyday? And increase the maximum cR limit to like 500,000cR or something. I calculated that I would have to earn like 160,000cR per day to reach Inheritor in time for Halo 4 (which will be higher because of the ban now). No one has that kind of time each day! Also, by doing all this, it would encourage people not to boost. And besides, once Halo 4 comes out, Reach players are gonna drop dramatically!

So earlier today I was playing grifball and one of my teammates told me to hold the ball. I did this and next thing you know my account was banned from earning credits and I don’t know why. all I did was hold the ball and didnt do anything else. Help?
