It appears from your game history you were banned for boosting kills off guest profiles in a full party. If this was your first cR ban it will last 24 or 48 hours.

I have an issue that I have already dealt with my son. My son was credit boosting on Saturday night. Using all 4 controllers. I have given him more than an earful over this as I usually play with him all the time on Halo Reach. So obviously due to his actions, he got our XBOX console a temporary credit ban. Which I don’t know how long this lasts. Some things I read said 24 hours - some said 48. This bothers me as it is passed the 48 hour mark and it is still in effect. Being a Halo fan, owning all the games even a pre-ordered Halo 4 game. I am a little clueless as where to find out the true info. Can you help me, or is there a way to get the ban lifted or when will this expire? Anytime we long on, all it says “This console has a temporary credit ban” nothing else is said.
Thank you for your time and help with this issue. No one seems to have an answer. (2 Days or 2 Weeks is not an answer) Bungie no longer takes care of Halo games, and when I called XBOX live customer service, they didn’t have an answer and suggested I contact a forum admin here on the waypoint form.
A little aggravating considering the kind of money I spend between games,and xbox live memberships.

typical ive been banned because others have moded games and so i leave those games.pity they cant catch the cheats that easy.the wonderful thing is they claim the bans are correct they r not i will not play alongside cheats who quite clearly have moded there consoles and so i leave that game.im the one who suffers because of cheats.you can stick halo 4 if you cant stop people moding the game.ive genuinely reached inheritor rank and completed 90% of coms without cheating and my reward is a ban.SHAME ON YOU.

Still banned… way past 48. This was the first ban my console received. Everything says 24-48. Hell can’t even get a response… to my PM or on this posting. I hope this isn’t a sign of how 343 is going to take care of things. Take are money…no customer service…vague answers. Beyond not happy… especially seeing I am the one who shells out the money for all this gaming…and no one can look into my posting…no number to call and complain…Thank you for all the help

This morning I received the message that I had been given a temporary credit ban. Yesteday I earned a lot of credits, but nowhere near enough to get me banned. I was playing with on splitscreen with a friend, who was truth be told terrible at halo.
Is there any reason why I have been given a credit ban. If so, how long will it last?
So I am banned from earning credits and I am very frustrated because we do not do any cheating on my console. From what I have read it may be because I had new players on with my kids a few days ago and they are horrible newbs. But then again I have played many games and sometimes get 0 points still. The problem is how long am I stuck not earning my credits. I do not get the chance to play all the time and would love to earn credits when I do.
Is there any way to get the ban lifted? Letting new people try out Halo is a great way for you to sell more games, but if I get banned for letting them play I may never let a newb play again.
Can I please just know when I can earn credits again and get back to playing Halo Reach. It is no fun to do my daily challenges and get nothing. Been banned for days already.

If yo upass 48 hours on a cR Ban then its a 2 week ban. If it passes two weeks. then Flash Your Drive dump your Nand and replace your Drive Key. Simple enough. No new xbox needed.

Well I got a call from my step son who is currently visiting his father and he tells me he has been banned from Halo Reach for a month. He unfortunetly thought that he could trust his step brother and let him play using his account when he was not around…this is not the case. He is like most children and loves playing Halo and to find out he is unable too is disheartning to say the least. I understand that yes he will most like have to deal with this ban but I ask if there is anyway that it could be lifted it would be greatly appreciated. I have gone in to his account and changed the password so his step brother will no longer have access and informed him to delete his profile from that machine as well. Question about credit banning. I only play matchmaking and have no campaign experience can this cause the software to think I am not a real player? I just like playing against real people and not the computer but I am concerned that it feels like our credit bans happen on my console if I have been playing. I do not cheat and try very hard to get kills, but if I need to go play the campaign to stop this please let me know. I do not want to be triggering the system just because it thinks I am only a credit boosting player for someone else. I have not seen any one ask this question yet so I was wondering if it is a parameter to the system.
Oh and if anyone could look up why my console is currently on a ban so I can try to make sure it doesn’t happen again that would be great too!
Rose you are ok. I see people mke second accounts all the time that only have MM Stats. NO FF or Campaign. so no bans will be intened on you unless you prvoke the system
Just need a little info as I am sure you get tired of answering these questions.
I purchased my Xbox a week ago last Sunday. About 48 hours ago I received a credit ban for the console and the account. I’m sure it was for “0” kills. I had several games like that so I guess it caught up with me.
Here are my questions:
Since Vulcan looks for “0” kills to ascertain if you are AFC or not can it not look at HALO WAYPOINT replay to see if you are moving?
Is it 3 “0” kill games in a row, in a day or is it a different number??
What if you have “0” kills, 15-20 deaths but have an assist or two? Does that save you?
Lastly, if you have “0” kills, 8-10 deaths but are -1 because of an accidental suicide or betrayal. Will I be banned?
Sorry, 1 more. If I am banned for “0” kills as stated above and I continue to play and get some more “0” kill games, does that count against me and extend my ban?

Love how I still have not received a response or answer. My first credit ban…and still banned… first offense 24-48 hrs but my console is still banned on the Fifth day.
i got a perminent ban one day, just started the game up and their it was, can’t get a reason as to why i got it, sucks big time.
