Ugh that’s to boost the No Dying commendation bc it wants you to last an entire Round (5 waves) to build it up. I tried hiding for a little but only on Doubles or multi-FF. Score Attack, I go balls to the walls lol. I’m getting better though and my usual issues with surviving are Fuel Rodders (Grunts with the big green explodey gun) and Elites with Concussion Rifles. However, the best maps to survive on would be Holdout in the corridor and Beachhead at the top of the stairs.

I see that you have looked back for people to see why they were banned. After reading a bit I think it may be for "afk"ing?. We were split screen in a match the other night and a random member on our team had a personal problem with KSI so he said because we had stepped away for a minute he was going to have us banned. I know I personally am a noob in all senses of the word when it comes to halo but I dont think my activity has been limited enough to have warranted a temp credit ban. Not only have the three of us been temp banned from credits but the whole console as well. I would like to know why exactly. And if there is nothing that can be done how long is a temp ban usually for?

Well your ban has nothing to do with a random member, but yourself. Going through your game history on 9/12 and 9/13 you have numerous AFK games. Before you say your bad, look at my 0.28 K/D Ratio, there is more to banning than simply kills. You were dying in your spawn points, in other words you were not moving and AFK.
Also your is easy to tell you are AFK just looking at your games and do it often, how can someone go positive 10+ in many games, then all of sudden go numerous games without a kill?
Since the other KSI players are in your group playing, they are probably banned for full party boosting, this means having a player idle or go AFK to boost the stats of other players. Console bans are also automatic for those found to be AFK or Full Party Boosting to attempt to discourage the behavior. Ban length is most likely two weeks.
So, is 343 going to keep the cheap skate reputation of Bungie or is 343 going to get off their collective butts and implement country filter? I quit quite often when playing against other countries. The connection is junk. To say it does not have an effect on game play is a blatant lie. Quit being lazy and do something about it. I just got quit banned. Guess what, out of 8 players, 1 UK and 1 Australia. How the hell does that happen? It’s friggin’ stupid.
Thanks for looking into it for me. I do have a newborn and need to get up often but i dont afk on purpose and try to stay out of games when i know im going to have to walk away. I stink royally and get confused and panic a lot but I guess my activity and such can suggest afking. We werent “party boosting” just me being a girl and freaking out lol. We play all the time and I was just wondering how long the ban would be. Hopefully its only two weeks like you said. Anyway thanks again for looking for me.
No, it doesn’t “hurt your creds” but depending how long you were in the game, when you leave, you still get a select few credits most of the time. Obviously, if someone were to do this over and over, they could boos the hell out of their rank/credits.
I’m not saying I fully agree with it but I’m aware of it and all the Ban types so I tend to follow their requirements.
There may have been other factors to your ban. Have you AFK’d at all on more than a couple accounts?
Okay so my friend told me about a month ago back that in his spare time he goes and sits in firefight for credits like when he wakes up and takes a shower and what not. So he told me about this and I asked him if it was legit and he said yes he had been doing it for a few months now and he has not been banned; so me thinking that it was legit did the same thing only to go and look at my screen saying "This account has been temporarily banned from earning credits"In my defense since I bought this game I had thought I was playing 100% legit the entire time. I also figured if it was a ban-able offense to sit in firefight, then they would post it through the game, like they managed to do with the quit ban. I wish there was a forewarning of the actions that would be taken from users “afking” in firefight. If I would have known this I would never have done it in the first place. I know I probably sound arrogant and I am sorry if I do I just feel upset that I got cr banned from thinking I was playing legit. There were no forewarnings given, nothing telling me how long I am going to be banned, and I did not know what I was banned for (until searching for about and hour and half through bungie forums and threads to find a post stating that “afkers” in firefight are being banned.I will never repeat these actions and just wish I knew about this before this incident occurred. Ok, gt CxUxP here… I’ve been scratching my head for a couple weeks and finally decided to seek council on this. I didn’t get banned or anything but people who read these are often imbued with the patience to seek out and analyze peoples stats and history to find things out. So a couple weeks ago I was playing team slayer and was doing exceptionally well, after the end of the match I recieved a voice comm from gt blesphere, he not so politely informed me that I was “reported” and to “enjoy the ban”. I politely reply “for what? getting food?” I had made a sandwich for myself after the end of the match. He then replied with a text message stating simply “reported” and blocked comm.
So since I no longer have a way to ask him why I had been reported, and also since I’ve never received a ban I have no idea what that guy thought I did to cheat him. If I was playing with a modder or a network manipulator I’d like to know so I can avoid them, but other wise thanks for your time.

If it was for a seriously small amount of time, couple to few minutes? I wouldn’t worry about it. People like that just love to get their rocks off acting like some sort of authority figure or b/c you “ruined their game”. If they can’t even tell you the reason why, then they’re just sore in the pants.

If you were moving, got kills and all that stuff, you can’t get banned for AFKing, you were playing technically.

they dont go afk dude they get spawned trapped, i dont know if you know what that is or not but all we play is swat in which that happens alot. now as far as them getting more then 10 kills in a game, thats cause i try to help my wife’s k/d by playing for her.
is there a way to get reset by choice… I want to keep the gameplay fresh and spending weeks to rank up between school and work just takes the joy out of the ranking system

So I have two problems with all this. First you admitted with my original response that you get up and leave the game since you have a newborn. In fact the newborn takes precedence, I have two daughters and they take precedence if I have to stop playing for some reason. The problem I have is now is changing from one story to another.
Second problem with spawn traps in SWAT, or any other 4v4 gametype, is they are very difficult to set up. Why? because every 4v4 map has multiple spawn points, some even have you spawn in the opposing team’s orginal area if your normal spawn points are not as safe. On top of this you had teammates that manager 10-20 kills and go positive in those games. This shows no spawn trap in place. If your teammates are getting a ton of kills this means they are killing the opponents who have set the “trap” , the trap is quickly broken with one or two kills. A spawn trap only works if all of the team is caught in it, but then again as mentioned in 4v4 it is near impossible, especially SWAT with no radar to give away your position upon spawning.

I agree. The only playlist that i can imagine that you can be spawn trapped is Invasion.
