Recently i have been credit banned and i have not received any notice to why i would be banned or even how long the ban is. I have asked a few people and i did read the post to why people get banned and i have not: Boosted, Cheated, Disconnect on purpose, or AFK except for the time i got up to get the phone which was probably less than a minute but i doubt that was it because I got banned maybe and hour or so after that happen. Some one in my game told me i could be getting too many credits… But with the 32k jack pot is quite easy to get credits… Ive received 200k credits within the last two days if that means anything. I have also been told that people are getting banned for no reason. And if that is case then don’t i deserve to NOT be banned? I’m not mad about the fact that I’m banned I’m mad about the fact that I am being Punished for a reason that I haven’t even been informed about. This seriously makes no sense at all. Fine i have a few games that i didn’t get any kills and i wasn’t meaning to lie. It’s not that I’m trying to hide anything by lying it’s that i didn’t even know i went a few games with out kills. The ban system works automatically and detects AFK’ing by reviewing your post-game stats. If you don’t earn any kills, it flags you as being “AFK” that game. Multiple “AFK” games (especially at least 5 in the same day) will result in a temporary cR ban. This is why the system marked you as boosting and temporarily banned you from earning cR to prevent further boosting.

That’s nonsense because that being said, we have clarified that i’ve been banned for something that i haven’t done and therefore I’m being punished for no reason. I believe i should not be cR banned. Do you think i should be banned?

We really haven’t established you weren’t boosting. Truth is, it sure looks like you were boosting. I don’t know of anyone that messes around and dies 16 times without getting a single kill while playing legit. If you were actually playing I suggest contributing more to your team by getting kills. If this was your first ban I believe it is for 24 or 48 hours. Your temp ban was deserved.

Okay, First, We haven’t established I WAS boosted so therefore, I’m innocent until proven guilty(lol). And i just watched a video of boosting in griffball to see what your talking about and it looks like they get a lot more deaths than 15 considering you spawn every 5 seconds and say you live for 3 seconds then you get killed. 10 seconds at the most per death so at least 6 deaths a minute and i think a match lasts for something like 5 minutes or so… so i would get ATLEAST 30 deaths… not 6 not 15… not any of that… 30 or more because i know when i play and actually try i get about 50 kills… and the reason i was messing around was because i was in a full party with 4 friends and we were on the same team and we were just messing around doing what ever… it really doesn’t matter why i wasn’t getting any kills because i remember a few times sitting up on the side of the map for a few rounds watching everyone maul each other from above. And no this is no my first ban. I have been banned before for resetting ‘A’ challenge. Yep… just one and i got banned for two weeks… and yea i used to search for way to boost and i used to be all about cheating in games but now it just pisses me off that I’m being accused of that. And it was well over a year the last time o got banned and i havent even played the game again till a few days ago.

Why not go look at the video of your matches. They should still be in your recent files. Even better, upload the vids to your fileshare. Face it - doing nothing (and not getting any kills counts as nothing) for game after game will earn you a cR ban.

Alright sir, one of my videos is in my file share and it was 3 games away from not being in my file share and its there not but check it out and look at the time also its a few hour before i even started posting on this forum sooo. proof. I havent been proved guilty so i’m innocent and i’m also innocent because i just proved i am. does it look like i’m boosting now? Thank You Now what do you think?

Seriously? You didn’t even move during rounds 2, 3, and 4. I don’t know anyone that thinks playing Halo involves standing as still as possible in your spawn for 3 consecutive rounds of assault. Would love to see those games where you went 0 and 12, 0 and 14, and 0 and 16. After all, if that video was still in your recent files then those ones in which you had 0 kills and double digit deaths are certainly still there since they were more recent. According to your recent games history, the sixth most recent one should be the film of you going 0 and 14. No idea why you think you are innocent.
last night i was having internet difficulties and got banned for quiting too much today i only left one game and was banned instantly how long do i have to wait afterwards and why do they have a ban for quiting 3 to 5 games that seems a little too strict

Yep… just one and i got banned for two weeks… and yea i used to search for way to boost and i used to be all about cheating in games but now it just pisses me off that I’m being accused of that. And it was well over a year the last time o got banned and i havent even played the game again till a few days ago.

Apparently you didnt watch the video because the only round i didnt move in was round two probably cause i was sending someone a message or something? And yes i do some time stay in my spawn just standing there because people will come up to you and think your no playing then you just smack them, so yes that is a strategy. But you still didnt answer my question. im being acused of boosting right? now does it look like im boosting? i dont think so, all you’re trying to do is make up reason why i should be banned and i can play halo the way i want to; and if that involves standing at my spawn for a round or two because i was sending someone a message then cant i do that? And i see people posting about being AFK banned like the guy at the top of this page, and im always at my controller the only time i get up is to use the restroom and if i do otherwise ill go to the lobby. Its not in the rules to get at least 1 kill a game. But apparently you get banned for that. That’s ridiculous. This just occured to me that what if some one were to rune out in the middle and get one kill then just AFK the rest of the game would they get banned? Im pretty sure they wouldnt. that right there proves my point alone. i have been banned not for AFKing or Boosting but for not getting any kills. and people that get one kill and afk the rest of the match dont get banned because getting 1 kill saves your banned. theres nothing more to say then that i have been banned for not getting a kill. And another thing; how can you even tell if someone is AFK you cant see them in person. they can be holding their controller in there hands watching people kill each other. but they arent afk they are still playing and if they dont get any kills then they will get banned for boosting or afking no doubt cause obviously you think this game is about getting kills and no having fun. I dont HAVE to get a kill in the game if i want to go an entire day playing the game just running out in the middle of combat spinning in circles shooting in the air because i think its fun i can do that. i dont understand how you think this game is competition when its supposed to be for fun.

Your vid didn’t follow you the whole time. Rounds 2, 3, and 4 it follows FPxMender in first-person view. Not sure if he was playing split-screen with you or what. In round 2 both of you didn’t move. Rounds 3 and 4 he did however so if your video does the same thing when you watch it and you don’t check to make sure it is actually showing you, you might get the impression you were doing something in rounds 3 and 4 when you weren’t.
As for staying in your spawn as a strategy, you were assassinated in your spawn in round 3 and the 4th round ended while you were again being assassinated in your spawn.
That’s how the system works. It views games without kills as AFK games. It is not perfect since you can get a kill or two a match and still boost by not playing the rest of the match, but it’s better than nothing.
Sure you can run around and not get any kills. Of course, as you have now found, you will continually get banned from earning cR. If you don’t care about cR, then you can play this way and have fun.
Either way, it has been well established that your behavior has justified your temporary cR ban. Good day.
