Ok so I logged on today to play some sweet & lovely Grifball on Halo: Reach. The next thing I see is a message saying I have been temporarily banned for earning credits.

-Yesterday I kept being kicked from Xbox Live
-Yesterday I got the 28k credit weekly challenge
Don’t know if it was the challenge or the disconnection but I’m fairly disappointed and upset.
And I feel like getting that team objective jackpot, which I can’t now.

i think i am being banned for betraying a lot or sometimes i do badly in games
r either of these plausible ways to get banned form earning credits

Well, I Was on Griffball and like 2 minutes into the game i got a message saying I Have been banned from getting credits, What the hell is happening? I Didnt do anything wrong…

You have at least one penalty in almost every single game. I see some games in your play history where you have 9 or 10 penalties. That means you’re betraying your teammates or killing yourself repeatedly. If enough people report you, you may have gotten the attention of a real live human at 343. If that’s the case, your ban might be more than usual. But I don’t see any OBVIOUS boosting, so if you’re boosting then you did a good job at it. My guess on the ban would be the serial betraying.

Right off the top, it appears that every MM game you have has you going negative. That’s a statistical impossibility as if you don’t play well your TrueSkill rank will keep decreasing until it finds a match that is adequate for you. My guess is that you partial AFK most games. That or you are purposely losing. If you’ve been helping friends stat pad, then they won’t be far behind in receiving bans of their own.

I didn’t even go outside your last 5 games for those three games (at the time of writing). You have dozens of examples of zero-kill games in Grifball and you play with the same set of friends. You appear to be helping them stat pad, both by giving them victories and by increasing their K/D ratio. SO that’s why you got banned. My guess is that your friends also earned some credit towards their own bans, if they haven’t received them already. So there you go.

I was banned for no reason …, and i dont know why and for how long … can someone help me ?
I would like to find out why my account received the temporary ban message. My sone was playing, my 7 year old daughter was playing with him. They received a message saying that they received a temporary ban from earning credits.

Me and my friends were playing halo reach and all of a sudden I got a pop up saying i was temporarily banned from earning credits, one of my friends is a new player to halo and got 0 kills a lot but he was playing the whole time and i can show you guys video of every game I played today and show that my guest was indeed legitimately playing! Gamertag is Hurricane Storm.

He may have been playing but 0 kills is still 0 kills.

is achievement boosting a bannable offence and if everyone gets kills how would they know
