how long is temporary credit ban?
Funny how they all got banned for letting a more inept relative play.
BTW, does CP commendation boosting get bans?
I get a temp ban when my router disconnects. I got a temp ban last night due to the person I was playing with was the network he went down then it said I quit yet I was able to finish the round of matchmaking, get the credits, and complete the challenges. So what gives. 343 needs to have there own servers for play because lag time on slow networks sucks and it is unfair to get screwed for other peoples crap.
I love Halo but Halo 4 better fix this or I am going back to my other games.

Im still banned, and its been a week, no one has explained my ban. and instead of mass punishment, or classifying everyone just to give the illusion the game is safe, there needs to be case by case punishments. As in, look to see how many points someone accused of boosting actually got, or if someone were boosting that they should be winnng matches. If youre going to act like the game is safer than COD MW3, or Black OPS, than stick to it, punish those with mod controllers, and who make their shotguns shoot like sniper rifles. or auto fire on a pistol. or even better auto aim with a sniper rifle. Please remove my ban, I got on halo reach to get away from COD not to punished like the cheaters who actually cheat

You were banned due to your account & guests AFKing in this game: TU FFA Slayer on Countdown
Same problem everyone else has, playing with my kids, teaching them the game, cuz MW3 isnt for kids, learning that cheating with mod controller or system, isnt how kids should learn online play. I put away MW3 and figured halo series would be better, instead got cr banned for my kids not getting any kills, also, i dont think they should have gamer tags, so they were Harvinallday (1) and (2) i only got 4-5 kills cuz im still learning the halo series myself. as my rank will show. can you plz lift or explain how long my ban is

If it has lasted for over a week like you said, expect it to end sometime today or next week.
what is AFKing??? still new to these acronyms
I believe that someone needs to explain to me and my friend why we keep on getting banned for earning credits when we play fair and do not cheat we are newbies so I believe we should not get banned for not getting much kills We really want to play halo so we can rank up but it is not fun without earning credits please lift our bann
> what is AFKing??? still new to these acronyms
I shouldn’t have said AFKing but AFKing activity, the ban hammer takes zero kill games as AFKing, which is were a player doesn’t play and gets credits for doing nothing out of it.
I think instantly credit banning people who’ve played with others who have gotten 0 kills in a game or a few is a bit silly. There needs to be more proper evaluation and thought put forth into these kinds of things. Sure, some people may be boosting, but some people are genuinely trying to have fun with their friends or loved ones, and in this game that so happens to be online. It isn’t those peoples’ faults that they aren’t skilled enough in some cases to get a kill, for new players it may be difficult. As in my case. Hence, back to my previous point, I think closer and more thoughtful insight into these cases should be had. Maybe a warning or something, instead of an automatic ban, even if it is “temporary,” which is still too long. I didn’t know this kind of rule existed!
All that being said, my complaint and the entire previous page’s complaints were never addressed. I’ve been banned for coming onto a week already and I find it ridiculous to be taken away from the experience of the game and a service that I am paying for because of this kind of enforcement. Any help would be appreciated, and I’ll leave the issue alone now. Thank you.
P.S. I’m not trying to aggravate anything or anybody or tell you guys how to do your jobs, I can understand why these precautions are set in place, I’m just offering some suggestions as to make the player-base as a whole happier.

I find it a little upsetting about the way AFKing is tracked but it was either leave it like that, or have AFKers run rampant, an in-depth tracking isn’t possible with Reach, well, it might have been if 343i had more time with it and didn’t have Halo 4 to focus on.
As for the last page not being answered, as of now, the only way to view someone else’s game history is to change the url to have their gamertag because the drop down menu on Service Records is broken, I was gonna hop on and do the last page but it is way to much hassle, I’ll try and do some.

I understand. I know that the company is busy preparing a new game along with whatever other things they need to manage. I wish this kind of thing could be taken care of fully, but they can’t satisfy everyone.
Well, if that’s the case then, I think that my suggestion of possibly implementing some sort of warning system should be put forward, to somebody. There’s already some kind of AFK tracking system at work, if it can sense a player has been put in our kind of situation, it can give them a warning to not do it again or receive a credit ban, or worse depending on the offense. I don’t know anything about coding or anything like that, but to me that sounds like a bit of an easier and much FAIRER mechanic to implement rather than the type of punishment system that is in effect now. If it’s possible, I think something along those lines would make the community a lot happier and a lot more aware of this rule, which I feel is the biggest point. Again, just a suggestion. And thank you for the taking the time to try and look at these posts.

I’d like to see some changes, would certainly make the people like myself who tell people why they were banned lives a lot easier, but once again, this late into Reach’s life, not likely, I believe the final playlist update will be in August which will consolidate all the playlists, if they were going to do something about the false AFK bans then it would be within the next few weeks or then, I just don’t see it happening.

Yeah. Well sometimes there just isn’t much that can be done. I’ll try and spread the word about this and hopefully save some people the trouble of being wrongfully credit banned, I guess that’s the only way it’ll have to work for now.
Hopefully a fairer, more effective system is implemented into Halo 4 so things like this can be avoided. Thanks for your time once again.
