> Ok here goes…you people working at 343i. You guys are seriously more interested in banning people for credits than actually doing something to the modders and profile hackers in this game.
People manipulating the credit system far outweigh the people who mod and hack. So naturally, more people are banned for credit manipulation/AFK’ing, than modding / hacking
> Dont even give me that bs about “permanent bans for modders and hackers” because people that actually play this game on a frequent basis, unlike most of you people who do not and rely on a “banhammer” to do your work for you. Ummm…you can definitely tell that more people mod than are caught and I have several “friends” who brag about the modding that they do and still have yet to be caught. (And yes smartarse they actually do it because you can clearly see it.)
They get permanent bans if they ARE caught. With the large volume of players on the matchmaking servers at any givin time, a few modders/hackers are bound to slip through the cracks. But believe me, they WILL eventually be caught and punished.
And a note on the automated ban sysytem: Does it make any sense to have an army of real people anyalizing every person, in every game? The amount of people required for such an impossible task would be huge. And everyone of those peoplle would need to be paid, which would make every copy of halo that more expensive. Could you imagine each copy of halo costing thousands of dollars?
> So anyways apparently having a few people over and drinking having a good time results in a credit ban because heaven forbid all the controllers aren’t moving every second of every game, because piss breaks, cig breaks, beer runs, and teaching new people to play on others’ gt’s is forbidden in 343’s world.
If you are busy with something else, why would you play a game you know you have no time for?
When you and your drinking buddies put the controller down in the middle of a game you are robbing everyone else in the game of a competant team mate/opponent. It lessens the fun level for EVERYONE in that game. Why should you get to ruin my game experiance? How is your fun time more important than everyone else’s fun time in the game? Take a bit of consideration for others with you when you hit up matchmaking.
> So without further adieu you people can shove this game up your -Yoink!- without lube, sideways and then get off your -Yoinks!- and fix your precious “banhammer” that screws genuine players over and lets cheaters run free.
> But, you will never screw me again because I will not play this ridiculous game nor ever buy anything with 343i on it ever again. And I will be sure everyone knows how this system works and will strongly advise others to break and never buy your games again.
I think i speak for many people who’s game experiences have been ruined: Goodbye, and good riddence.
Make sure to tell your friends why you’re telling them to break their game discs and boycott 343i: They caught you doing something against the rules, so you got banned. Heaven forbid that they enforce their own rules. You can also tell them that the majority of players who were banned, deserved it without the slightest bit of restraint.
> And while we’re at it this just goes to prove your “system” is flawed and you could care less about your fans or customers because when you make…oh excuse me…when your “banhammer” makes a decision to ban its final…but yet when you reach inheritor you keep getting credits but if you get too many all of a sudden or teach newbies how to play, oops you’re banned. So sit on your thrones and think you’re gods, there will a day when halo is replaced (hopefully not by something you people made and put a stupid “banhammer” in) by something completely better in every way.
It should be common sense, or at least pretty obvious that taking inexperienced or new players into a competitive playlist is a bad idea. There are many options for teaching new players: Firefight (custom and matchmaking), Campaign, Custom games, Action Sack ETC.
I’m sure if you wrote the script and code for a better ban system, then they would happily take a peek at it. But until you can, you’ll have to live with it, or not play.
> Oh and to further your blantant lack of care or concern for your fans and customers you have a thread and not actual help in which people who do not work for you post and reply on here, after searching your gamertag which itself is annoying and creepy, when some users want actual employees or a credited tech support to help and receive answers.
Why would they pay anyone, to have to continuously repeat and rehash the same things after every post (IE “you AFK’d”, “you reset challenges” “ban lengths are as follows”, ETC.). 98% of the answers people seek could be obtained by reading the rules page, or reading the first or last few pages of this thread. A real person would get fed up with giving the same answer again and again (i got fed up after my first few posts in this thread, hence why i don’t frequent ths thread anymore). And then when people have an explanation of why they were banned they’ll cause a fuss because they think they shouldn’t have the same rules applied to them. Or they’ll swear, insult and flame because they’re angry that they got caught.
> Kudos guys. Great customer satisfaction I see and experience with your “holier-than-thou” attitudes.
> And for the groupies who hang out posting replies here and being rude to us people who want answers, go outside and look at the sun for the first time in years. Don’t even bother searching this gt and trying to creep on my Yoink!, its not even real and I wont be back to read replies because this account will be deleted.
> Peace out girlscouts.
The only reason we are rude to people, is when they fly off the handle when they get caught dead to rights (much like yourself). And we’re tired of keyboard cowboys making new accounts to shoot their mouths off and then go hide. You don’t like us because we won’t sugar coat the truth.
Most game developers don’t even have a user based ban help thread. So before critsizing, do your research.
Lastly, id like to thank the people at 343i for protecting my interests, as well as the interests of a vast majority of halo gamers, from AFK’ers and boosters. And not giving in to cheaters who whine when they get caught.
