Today I was banned, and I know that there was a reason for it but I checked every rule that i’ve might have broke to recieve a credit banned, but thruth is every one of those rules i’ve checked was something I never did on purpose or accident, but what I did figure out is that I had already earned more than 200,000 credits for the day, but then again why would my friends account get banned aswell, unless he reached his credit limit aswell. Please if there is any way readers can figure out how long the credit banned takes and why me and my friend got credit banned.
I am new on these forums so forgive me as I set up a ban thread somewhere else on the forums. Anyway I would like to know why I am unable to use theatre or forge as it comes up with the message saying “this console doesn’t have permission to access user generated content”. I have no idea what I have done but I noticed that it happened during the transition from Bungie to 343. And yes I’m a bit slow to get on the forums and talk about this problem and that’s because I wasn’t bothered by the ban, but it occurred to me that I may not be able to take advantage of Halo 4s forge mode and this worries me. I just want to know if this ban will be gone when Halo 4 comes out and how long these user content bans will last.
P.S can you give me an idea as to what I did wrong to receive this ban as I have no idea what I did wrong.
What is hilarious is that my boys usually kick butt, get 2nd to 3rd place kill rankings and I’m always at the bottom…like my quotation says “noob in every respect”.

So I was playing Halo Reach and I get the message “you have been banned temporarily from earning credits” every time I attempt to join a game. I’m not even sure what I did, but does anyone know how or why this can happen? Also, how long does this last? I looked up mixed things from 1 hour up to 2 weeks…?

I got booted once for something that was arguably not even my fault. I certainly wasn’t AFK, but my guest was for a few minutes because we had to get him batteries. Can I get penalized for that?

I was credit banned on my account today and am requesting for it to be reversed please. I had a few friends over playing in Anniversary slayer. One (an adult) just could not get any kills for the life of him, even though the bullets flew almost constantly. I think it is unjust for my account and console to suffer in this way for bringing on someone inexperienced, who wanted to try a social game type.

Why did i get baned for 2weeks. No Cr for 2 week really why cant you just derank me to to a low level. I cant take the 2week of doing nothing on the best game. ALL HALO i was baned like really do you have to do that on all of them i just want to play the game not have to et baned for things i never did…

I’m not banned, but I lost connection a few times (fortunately, that problem is more or less solved) and it’s warning me that I have one more “quit” before I get banned for a short while. I just wanted to know, when does that go away? I heard it takes a while, but I just hoped I could get a definite time.
I have never heard of a ban being lifted, so you have to wait this out. Usually last a few days or up to a few weeks, depending on how many times you have received it.
To avoid it in the future, dont ever set the controller down while in a game, dont manipulate challenges to get extra points. Do that and you will never have a problem.
