EDIT it seems on the 26th you had at least 3 games of boosting in griffball. Guest boosting is against the rules and it will get you banned.

What finger is being pointed? Do you really need me to post every game? I’m sure there is at least one guest account that got zero kills over the span of 6 games. It’s boosting pure and simple. Every single guest account had 0 kills, not even an assist, for every game they were in. Do you really expect anyone to believe that all of these people couldn’t even get an assist, on all of those accounts, for the entire time they were playing? And for most of those games, the main accounts had 2 deaths each and all the others were in the double digits. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what you were doing. Do you have a video of these guests moving around and shooting at other players?
I don’t have anything to do with other people getting banned. DRG isn’t a clan it is a community of people who get together and play games and have fun which is what we all want to do when we get on the video games in the first place. I don’t run around AFK habitually at all. Yesterday when I was playing we were in a game and it was FFA so I wasn’t affecting anyone when it came down to me going through my computer and messing around with music. I could understand someone getting frustrated if I was needing to support a team but that wasn’t the case. I only played a couple of games before I got off. How many AFK games does it take to get to the center of the tootsie roll? Please do me a favor and do not bring up DRG Reaper because he is independent from me and you banning me isn’t something that will be a DRG thing.
whoese to sy i was going afk im not that great of player but i also know u cant penalize me for my guests if they are not that good… so who are u to judge people on how good they play. u explain to me why 343 can controll the accept of a game… what u guys think u know what yall r doing or what ever the hell the case may be. u guys think cause u can sit there and read codes >.< ha. thats funy. ya know u base us against millions of people who have mutli accounts… lemme tell ya something little dude. if ur system actually worked on how people played i dnt think a brand new recruit would be pitted against people who are way much higher rank… yall say its just a random selection of people to play… ya know what if my guests. aka my brother and sister and people like that cant play a game together with me and enjoy them selfs cause u guys wanna read CODE. and have no idea whats going in the actuall REAL WORLD of a person house… so u tell me how u can LEGITLY ban some one from doing any thing at all. i think just cause people are earning credits a little too fast that u guys are worried that u may loose profits. so while u guys sit here and try to judge other people to seem that ur right… get off the people who is trying to teach there guest bout playing and go do something with ur lifes. I was banned from earning credits and I don’t know why. I play by the rules I don’t quit early and even when players get rough I don’t get involved in unfriendly banter. You ban people and don’t tell them why so there is no redemption or correction that can be made. Additionally you ban the console, so if one player is deemed banned everyone else who plays off that console is also banned even if they have not played in weeks/months. I am angry at the fact that you do this and am considering not playing anymore at all. As well as taking back my Halo 4 pre purchase redemetion cards. (yes I bought more than one) I beleive that if you are going to punish a player for whatever behavioral issues you are imposing a ban, you should at least have the courtesy of letting them know why so that they have the opportunity to make corrections or changes. I have invested a lot of money into the Halo brand, I have all of the games some are multiple copies, action fugures, posters, and books. Please treat your paying customers with some concession.
Sorry. I diddnt know that was bannable :C, Im prety sure this is my first offence, because iv never recieved a ban message before. So when will i be unbanned? Because my friends want me to play matchmaking, because its been like 47 hours, :C
I was banned and I don’t know why. I did play some games with peeps that are way better than me and I only got 1 or 2 kills per game but I do have activity. I don’t undertsnad how I can get banned but still be playing? Halo Reach is one of two games I play on Xbox and I am frustrated about this banning thing, I may not be good but I do play and I avoid unfriendly banter. Please revisit your bans or AT LEAST tell you people why so they can avoid a repeat. I feel like I have been sent to the naughty chair but not told why so I can not correct the behavior, or avoid palying with friends that are 100 times better than me.
Please don’t be snotty. I really don’t understand why I was banned. After reading through your forums, I am to be understood that the primary reason for bans is because people are not getting any kills, or because they have extra player in their party who are not getting any kills/ assists. Depending on players and skill levels there may be game types like SWAT or Snipers that a lower skilled player may not get any kills. These game types do not allow for assists either because they are supposed to be headshots only. I believe now this the reason, without being told, I was banned because I was playing SWAT with friends that have way more game skill than I, but is still not fair. I can send you my video captures that show methodical movement, and aiming. If I tied rubber bands to my controllers this would not be the possible. So by banning me, you are saying that I should not play with higher skilled players, and I should avoid certain game types that I may struggle with. Which is still unfair, because now I don’t get to play with my friends. I am sure you get many complaints becasue your digital system is not set to read skill level or meovement, just a score count. For beginners like myself, who may be in over their head playing with people far better, or who play for fun but still like to accumulate points for armory purchases, you are saying that we should not play at all. This does not seem to be a customer friendly system of play.

Your definintion of what DRG is, well thats pretty much what half the clans say about themselves. The ban system is automated, it doesn’t have feelings, and it doesn’t watch your every move. It also doesn’t read who you are partied with. All it sees is that you had games with 0 kills, which it reads as AFK. Understandably you weren’t hurting anyones game since obviously you guys were in a party, but the computer program that does the bans doesn’t see that, it just sees AFK. The least ammount I’ve seen someone banned after is 2 games, it’s normally three, sometimes it takes more. There is alot ofpeople playing Reach at any given time, so sometimes it takes longer to catch up to some.

You must have missed something, A 343 employee won’t respond to you, and Bungie created this system. This thread is only here so people who don’t know why they were banned can figure out why. On top of the fact you are just banned from credits, all throughout your rant you say it’s a game to have fun right? Then play for fun without earning credits. If you are actually banned from matchmaking, which I’m sure you arent, then you did something really bad. Banning your console isn’t an invasion of privacy either. They didn’t take your info, they just make it that the signal your specific console, with it’s reg# can’t earn credits.

It seems that on the 26th you had multiple games with 0 kills, and the system popped you for AFK activity. I o understand your frustration since a lower skilled player should be able to play with their friends. But at the same time it can’t be fun just getting obliterated by the other team and there are 2 people on the team getting 15 kills, and then the other 2 are getting 1 and 2 kills. That can’t be fun for the lower skilled plyers. It’s your account, feel free to just ignore me, but maybe you and the other guest can talk to your friends and ask them to go into a less difficult play type? They’ll still have fun in a regular slayer game, and you will probably get more kills, and not get banned.
so what i understand is that if i want to get past Legend and to Mythic then i just need to play by my self. nd not hve my guest play with me. >.< that is a little harsh but what ever. still think that this dumb ban hammer stilll needs work. or u guys need to recode it. for skill base players
Ive been playing lots of halo lately and apperently I got banned from earning cR. I just said oh ok fine I must of hit the credit cap for the day. Well its been about a week now and I’m still waiting to be lifted from my ban. I’m pretty sure i got banned before like 4 Months eailer for another stupid reason (idk if this has to do with why its taking so long…) can anyone help me with this or have any idea when this will end.
So basically at the end of the day you are saying that I shouldn’t play at all. Winning was not as important to me as playinga game with friends and having fun regardless of score. I know I am not that great at playing, so I play for fun and to enjoy the company of others who like to also play and have a fun regardless of skill. This is the first shooter game I have ever played and I have been banned before for the same thing 2 weeks after I started playing this game, I have “played” every game I have ever joined and I have only quit 3 games since I started playing this at the beginning of this year, because the first time I was banned it lasted for a week and had no isea what AFK even was, and I don’t understand why Halo feels it neccessary to interfere with credit earning and game play, essentially by banning, the company is saying that people who have limited playing skills should not play your games.
i have been banned. i dont know why i did not boost credits or anything, i believe in enjoying the game. can anyone please clarify why i have the ban and how long it will last it has been over 2 days and this is my first ban. please help me!
