Yesterday, I hit the cR limit legitimatly, and when I come back the day after: Banned for two weeks from earning cR. Great! I needed like 10,000 cR and I would rank up, but ‘‘they’’ decided that I couldn’t because I got 200,000 cR yesterday.
Come on, nothing is wrong with this right?

Can you post the other Gamer tags that are on the xbox, I didn’t see anything on your GT that would suggest a ban, it is possible it was another GT that offended.

Your son got banned for having a guest with 0 kills for multiple games, It has nothing to do with moving the xbox. The system sees this as AFK activity.

It can last anywhere from 48 hours to 2 weeks. The norm is 1 week for a second ban.

Are you sure it was Legit? You played a total of 5 games yesterday. How are you gaining 40,000 credits a game?
Also did your message actually say a 2 week ban?

Ok, so you got banned for cheating the system to get the credits. That’ll definitely get you banned for 2 weeks. Your only option is to wait it out and not do the same thing again.

Hey, I need some help with my account ban.
So I was playing rumble pit, I’m pretty sure I was system linked with my brother’s Xbox, and we had all controllers in playing rumble pit. Well, It turns out after a few games, both of our Xbox’s became banned, and for really no reason.
I would assume they banned me for ‘idle guest boosting’ but they do not tend to realize that those guests that were playing were my younger siblings playing. I understand you cannot see exactly who is playing and who is idle, yet I believe this was an incorrectly judged ban. You may check my history to see I am a very fair-playing and respectful gamer. I request that you take a second look into this case.
This is not the first time it happened- I was banned while playing with my Nephew in rumble pit.
Please take consideration into your judgement on this ‘ban’, and thank you.

We weren’t aware of this rule, i guess he has to train his friends a little before letting them play matches.
The kid he was playing with was an absolute beginner and if he was playing with my son there usually aren’t many kills left.
At least i usually get “leftovers” when i play with him.

It’s my pleasure to help. It is sad that the system is set up like this, however it was thrown together fairly quickly to combat the people that stand around just to get credits. I did have a longer post for your initial issue, but the site was having issues. If your son has friends over like that, let your son know to try and avoid Slayer gametypes, they can do firefight doubles where they will just b able to kill enemies and it is nar impossible to not get a kill.
The movement thing doesn’t really work cause people just rubberband their controllers, or tape the trigger down so it looks like they are moving and shooting, tracking 0 kills is the only way really. I am with you though that the system is unfair to a degree.

I didn’t look in depth, but it seems tughwand was signed in with baldshoe, toughwand was getting zero kills. More than likely the system got triggered for AFK activity. Even if they were playing if they don’t get a kill the system reads it as an idle guest. It is unfair, but the ban system was thrown together fairly quickly to combat AFK players in the beginning. If it’s a first time it should only last 24-48 hrs. I would say have your kids play some firefight before they get into matcmaking to get “warmed up” that way they should be getting at least 1 kill in matchmaking. Hope this helps a bit.

EDIT* lol, after actually looking, your buddies that you play with, DRG Reaper, has already been banned for having Idle guests. It seems your DRG clan has an issue with AFK games.
I didn’t even bother looking at your games,since your caps lock is clearly broken and that annoyed me. I’m going to venture a guess that you had too many games with 0 kills, and got banned for AFK activity. If you were actually playing it sucks. But just like you pay for the game and service so do I. And I shouldn’t have to sit in a game where my team mate isn’t moving. Or even for that matter moving and just getting killed repeatedly, without killing anyone. And just an FYI, you aren’t banned from playing the game, you are just banned from gaining credits. If you let young kids play and they go AFK that’s on you. And again, YOU CAN STILL PLAY. You jut won’t get credits. So you paying to play is no longer valid.

That game right there is called boosting. You had multiple accounts logged on with multiple guests logged on all getting 0 kills. That is against the rules. Your ban is justified. You are responsible for anyone playing on your console.
I went to sign into Halo Reach late last night and received a message that my “Console” was temporarily banned. Could you please explain further the whole “Console Temporary Ban” please? The only thing I can think is that my children may have popped in and out of games while playing…, but why ban the whole “console” rather than making it user based? If I may inquire, how long does a temporary ban last?

If it just says console when you sign on, then another person on the console got it banned. They do the console bans so people can’t just jump to a different profile and keep gaining credits. First time bans are normally 24-48 hours. 2nd offenses can be from 1-2 weeks. and 3+ offenses get 2 weeks automatically.

Not a problem, just so you know you can still play, it’s just a credit ban. So you won’t get the credits at the end of the matches, but you can still go in and play the game, at the very least it’s good practice.
Can you help, i reached the cR limit of however much it is, and then it said this account has been temp. banned from earning cR, idk y i got banned when this is only the second time i reached the cr limit, and my friends reach the cr limit all the time and they dont get banned, so can you please help me and unban my account :C
PS: this happened when i became a legend.
And if you are wondering wat i was playing, it was Score Attack, firefight doubles, and some griffball, idk y i got banned for playing these, please help :C

I don’t have a ban button, I don’t work for 343i. Nobody who works for them will respond. You had MANY games with guest boosting. Which is against the rules. If it’s a first time ban it lasts 24-48 hours. 2nd time is 1-2 weeks,and 3+ times is auto 2 weeks.
