You had many games of Firefight Arcade with 0 kills. You obviously were AFK. Which entering a match and not playing just to gain credits is against the rules. For the future, son’t go into a game of any kind and not play. You will just get banned again, and the bans get longer the more you get.
ok thank you sorry was takin care of my daughter but thats neither here or there it wont happen again
Cool, my console was banned from earning credits, temporarily. How long does this bogus crappola last, and btw, I want a refund of my xbox live subscription as Halo is all I play. I do not credit farm, or stand around doing nothing, or use an AIMBOT - I simply play mostly swat and firefight and endure lots of lag and crappy service from the halo server as it is. Now I get banned. Thanks for the insult Microsoft and 343i.

You were banned for taking a second account Stitch51116 into firefight doubles and leaving them idle. It is obvious it’s a second account, because they are in EVERY Firefight game going back past the 17th. I only checked to the 17th.
Guest AFK boosting is against the rules. If you keep doing it you’ll keep getting banned.
“The service is unavailable.”
Site having issues?
Anyways, thank you for that explanation. That is all I was asking for - maybe an email would have been nice, especially since I am a first time offender.
BUT, it is still bogus. When playing firefight matchmaking in doubles or 4-some mode, it rarely finds others to play, so my son will play with me in doubles and sometimes he leaves his character unattended to.
Also, when I do get more than one player to join, friend, or otherwise, one of us is always booted out to our own game.
Would be nice for Halo to fix its issues, but thanks for the response. How long is the ban for?
So, to get around the defects of Halo: Reach firefighting, can I log my son’s account out right before the game starts, so that I am left alone in an Arcadefight, or is that a ‘no-no’, too?
Nice cover up, chief. Whenever my little sister plays, she sometimes leaves the character unattended also.
Well, he gets distracted by his baby sister, as I tell him to go get her as she crawls off somewhere where she should not be crawling to.
The audacity of this company astounds me - I have seen several accounts that were inheritors with a poor commendation percentage, as well as players using aimbots or lagging a match, but for them to ban my console for getting around their issues is amazing. I hope this is a short ban, because I just may cancel the two accounts and find something else to do.
I’m sorry if this is not in the right topic, but I have a question.
If I am in online COOP (through matchmaking) and the rest of the team quits for various reasons (not network issues on my part), could I get banned for quitting?
For example, this happened to me the other day. I was on legendary on a map, and the rest of the team quit. I had no chance of winning the level, as I am good but not that good. If I quit, will it count as a quit online game, even if I am the only one there?
Thanks.
Yes, if you quit for any reason, if your internet craps out on you, it counts against you, and it could lead to the 10 minute ban thing.
hello im rockitup123 i recently got temperarily banned from earning credits. i was wondering the reason why i recived this ban and i wanted to know how long it would be for. the story that happened was that yesterday at about 9:30 eastern time i joined an online matchmaking game and once i got into the game my mom called me to come downstairs so i left my xbox unatended i got distracted and started to do what she asked wich was my chores and stuff.so i kept cylcling through games while i wasnt there. i was distacted for about one hour and when i got back i see a message saying i was temperarily banned from earning credits. i feel that its not right to get banned and that it was an accident that i never knew about. i hope you guys get this message and will be able to help me with this issue.

You were banned due to AFKing activity in this game: Jump Pack Grifball on Get Off My Lawn
First time bans tend to last 24-48 hours.

wow, banning someone for one game of AFK (btw, what does that mean, lol)…wow.
So, if I walk away from a game for some time or drop out, I can get banned, in some manner. Wow, seems kind of harsh when you compare to those accounts that hack themselves into an inheritor or use an AIMBOT on swat.
I have taken a brake from playing halo for 3 months. I went to play with my friends and im “temporarily banned from earning credits”. 1st i do not know what i did. 2nd i do not know how long it will last and because it has been 4 24hr periods. 3rd I NEED some sort of contact information to get in tough with some kind of representative because i dont feel that anything i could have done (3 months ago) should ban me from basically enjoying a game for more then a 24hr period…let alone 4 days. Thank you.

I know for a fact I have not gone afk for an entire game or even half a game but my little sister may have logged on or something… Do you know if there is any way to apeal an offense or why for apparently going afk 1 game banned me for 1-2 weeks?
From the bungie post linked from above…
> Winning games over and over again as long as this is not for the purpose of boosting.
Isn’t winning what playing is all about? How would they know if a successful person on a winning streak was trying to boost or not?
ok AWAY FROM KEYBOARD…for one game…and you get banned? Wow, I cannot wait to see what is in store with Halo 4.
hi i am wondering how long it will take for my credit ban to be over
