My gamertag is YouWantAFacial. i believe i was credit banned for no reason and was wondering if it can be lifted. it says that ive been banned from earning credits for 2 weeks and since a week ago i havnt been able to find anyone who i can contct about it till now. it would be greatly appreciated if it could be lifted.
i was banned from credits for the second time dont know why or what to do about I didn’t do anything wrong why play the game if there so quick to ban, not give you a reason or even a date of when the ban will lift… please help with what my options are.
Ok so I know how I got mute banned but now how do I become un-muted banned. I played some MLG and I don’t know why I was muted I’m really a nice guy I have a good rep please help me I like talking to people in pre game lobby.

Looking through your game history, there is absolutely no way you were banned for no reason.

Those three were just the first few i could find. There is about 10 games before that that you were AFK.
There is no way to appeal bans, especially one that was givin deservedly. If you have a 2 week ban, than odds are you have been banned in the past. Stop going AFK in firefight, and they’ll stop banning you.

I quickly checked your game history, and it looks like your guest had a few 0 kill games. Too many 0 kill games tricks the ban system into thinking you are involved in boosting.
My advice, keep your guest in firefight until you feel they can get a couple kills in a game.

Unfortunately, as i understand it, mute bans are permanent. If people want to talk to you (outside of your friends), they have to unmute you. You were muted because in the MLG playlist, most people mute their opponants to avoid them hearing your callouts. If enough people mute you, you get the mute ban. about half of the entire population of halo is mute banned. It sucks, i know.
My boyfriend, who is new to playing Halo, got a bunch of zero kills in a row and then it told us we were both banned by console and accounts. Its been just past 2 weeks now and Im wondering if we’ll ever get to earn credits again. Does anyone have any ideas how much longer this could take?

Firstly, you should post in the why am I banned thread.
Second, a console ban means that the Xbox itself has been banned from Live permanantly. Are you sure it’s a console ban? Basically they ban the gamertags and the physical Xbox from ever being able to use matchmaking in any game.
Credit bans in Reach can last from 24 hours to several months. Bungie said they would perma-ban gamertags of serial cheaters. If you’ve been banned two weeks, and it’s still not gone, it might a perma-ban. If so, they must have a MOUNTAIN of evidence that you’ve been doing naughty things. Just getting no-kill games is not enough to be banned.

My son on this account has a temporary ban from earning credits on halo reach. He has had a minor issue with disconnecting but to the best of his knowledge he has not done anything illegal. We are wondering if this was done by accident or if you can let us know (A) what he did wrong, and (B) how long the ban is. He has always been worried about getting banned so he has been careful not to use cheats. He has had people in the past try to sell him better gear or whatever and he has always refused it. We would like an answer as to what is going on or whether there is a chance he has been hacked maybe?
I also find it strange that there is no way you can contact a person by phone over a ban or other issue. The only way you can get any info is through thses forums. I personally play an online game put out by another company and I can and have been able to talk to a person live whenever I needed to. I would appreciate it if someone can get me a contact number to whomever is responsible for the in game bans of halo reach.
my account had a ban notice on it, which i understand i couldnt not leave anymore games which i wasnt, then the other team quit because we beat them so bad, and now my account is banned, there has to be a way to fix this bug, someone help me?

Though it says temporary, I don’t get why I got a message saying that my console is banned from receiving credits. I was in the middle of playing a firefight match and it just randomly tells me I’m banned. Then it came up about 3 more times before saying that about my console. The most that really happened was I was playing a few games of firefight, went afk in the middle of them a few times for food and such and had teammates trying to kill me as usual. I’m just confused.
Hey. I got banned and I am not here to ask for my ban to get un-lifted or why I am banned, but WILLTHIS BAN CARRY OVER TO HALO 4?
I would like to know how much longer the ban is and why we cannot be notified of why there is a ban and how long it is. All the other online games I deal with send notifications when you get banned, reason for it, and how long it is going to be. Another question I have is does anyone from halo even read these? Seems like noone ever gets an answer from them.
i have recently been banned, now in the past i have been banned for boosting with friends and learned from that. However the other day i was playing and my 4 year old brother was watching and decided he wanted to play with me, so i hooked up another controller and allowed him to play. but of course hes 4 years old and didnt know what to do so he finished on either a score of 0 or somewhere negative. so i think i have been banned again under the mistake that it looks like i was boosting again.
i was playing reach and some family came over. i let me little nephew play so i can visit and when they left i went to play again and a message popped up saying temp banned from console and acccount. ive never got this before and after doing some research i found a few reasons why you get banned. so i looked at my game history and noticed games with zero kills. this is the only thing that couldve got me banned. is there anyway i can get thi reversed? i didnt know you can get banned. if i wouldve known that i wouldve put in another game for him. ive beeen playing reach alot the past few weeks and would very much appreciate if thi can be reversed for i did not know. please help
He quit to many games, the ban should’ve been gone in 10 minutes
i just checked and it didnt go away. the game history shows 0 kills on matches.
