I viewed you history based on your responses, and in truth you did this a little more than one time. In fact nearly your entire first page of history when it is filtered by Firefight Doubles is you signing in a guest controller then letting it sit idle.

I am not going to troll or give you the catch phrases, but a bit of advice, try honesty the next time and the responses may be better. In truth are the virtual credits really worth the bans? In the end why does rank, K/D, etc matter, I mean why try to boost it?

I just want to know if I was banned and rank reset for just straight out quitting during firefight matches, i don’t afk through matches ever. If I was banned for quitting I don’t really see myself coming back to reach I don’t play multiplayer matchmaking and all i play is firefight. If i have to play through 5 rocket fight matches before I can play one firefight match its not really worth it to me. O well thanks in advance to whoever answers this post I am glad someone is shedding light on the bans

-Modified Accounts (Online. Not sure about Offline)

You will not Be Banned for:

-Commendation Boosting

-Oni Sword Base Glitch

-Full Party Boosting

Why is commendation boosting off the ban? I mean, commendations are meant to be done normally…

You were actually banned for two reasons. First was AFKing in Firefight. This is easily seen if you know what stats to look at in firefight. While all your zero or negative games say DNF, it is using the old trick of exiting the game or dashboarding right at the end when the credits show on the bottom left of the screen, but before the credit screen actually displays.

The second reason was all the challenge resetting you did for the challenge that week in May having to do with the Pillar of Autumn.

Again both violations are easily detectable when the person knows where to look. I will not reveal all my secrets, but I do have them and have picked them up from various sources around the web (these are valid sources who really know not some Youtube tryhard).

There is A LOT of AFK going on in that firefight history, are you sure you do not want to revise that statement to avoid the ban being doubled? I mean you did not even dashboard or quit prior to the credit screen showing up to make it look like a DNF.

Out of curiousity with 7600 games played how high of a rank were you? And was the virtual (not real) rank really worth that much?

I think it depends on the way a commendation is boosted. Am I boosting by specifically playing Gruntpacolypse and using only my pistol for headshot to up those two commendations? I wouldn’t think so, but then you do have the outright ones like the people using save and quit for the Flawless Cowboy. I think there is a very fine line here and the programming may be a little difficult to be that precise. Just my best guess though.

Thank you for Telling me, as far as afking during firefight i drop from the game before the match even starts if you look in my stats it even shows 2 min lag between most of the games where i Have +0 spreads. As far as challenge reseting i have no idea what it is or how to do it. So i know not to do it again what is challenge reseting?

Just to say, the save & quit glitch for Flawless Cowboy is not bannable, or at least Bungie said this.

Well, it’s not necessarily a straight “Ban” but somebody in the higher-ups area REAALLY needs to settle the File Share Ban deal. There are many threads/forums between here and B.net and someone earlier posted that there is always a Reason for being banned. I’m not saying I don’t have one…but I’d like to KNOW that reason myself.

Anyway, full story goes - I use my File Share a lot. Mainly just to upload pics/vids on a website. I purchased Bungie Pro for this b/c you can’t watch/upload them without BP. I’ve had it for a while now and have had no problems. A couple weeks ago, there was a challenge for Uploading Something to Your File Share. That was the last time I did it and I just did what I always did - picked something from my Local Files, Upload to File Share, Done.

A week later, a similar challenge came up. I had not even played for a day or two but when I went to upload, I read “The Name of the Creator of this File is Not Allowed On XBOX Live” which is disgustingly misleading as is. I’m obviously STILL allowed on XBL and I can’t see the harm in the name I’ve had for well over a year - Zoidberg Psycko. If it’s the Psycko that’s all of a sudden a problem, then why are 3 of my buddies who have Psycko as part of their GT NOT having the same issue?

I do not abuse any feature of any part of the game. I just want to play and take some cool vids/screens and cannot find any sole reason as to why this is happening. People are coming up with conspiracy theories about the whole Safety Words thing or that it’s some disgruntled employee.

Now, in efforts to solve this, myself and many people facing this issue have e-mailed Bungie, Microsoft AND 343 getting the same answers of pointing to Bungie b/c it’s their game, MS for tech support and/or 343 for their current status.

NOBODY has given anyone a straight answer and I’m sorry, as a loyal fan - This is unacceptable. Having no rights for a SIMPLE ANSWER that nobody can give is not something that sits right when I paid for the game, pay for XBL and for Bungie.net.

Somebody owes me and people in my position AT LEAST an answer which we are not getting.

I’ve tried forums, emails and have even contacted BS Angel with so far, a week of no reply.

While I do hold a sliver of hope, I still feel nothing will get done and it really disappoints me in how this franchise is going to be handled.

Please Figure This Out as it’s your jobs. Either way, it’s somebody’s job and everyone on top seems to overlook it.

It’s Microsoft’s job actually, it’s a problem with the censor for Xbox LIVE, right now, I just tried putting ‘Zoidberg’ in my motto on Xbox LIVE and it doesn’t allow me to put it in there, so the phrase ‘Zoidberg’ has been added to the censor list.

There is your answer, solution if you don’t want to wait 6 years for them to acknowledge the problem, change your name to not have Zoidberg.

I would very much appreciate it. Apparently, they are right in that it IS somehow, the Zoidberg part of my GT but again, it still makes absolute ZERO sense. Especially out of the blue!

I’m going over the Xbox Live Terms of Service now and of course, no word on censor words but they do love to tout this little tidbit:

“Microsoft reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to any or all Xbox.com Web Site and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice.”

That’s what truly gets under my skin. It’s like being arrested for littering. You’re clearly overstepping your boundaries and becoming a bunch of clubhouse bullies. GIVE A FRICKIN REASON! That’s only the proper thing to do. You couldn’t take this to court and say “Well, we just say he’s banned. Case closed.”

Granted it’s not the case but this is clearly happening to a ton of innocent gamers. I can’t confidently consider changing my GT without confirmation that this kind of idiocy on Microsofts part doesn’t happen again…which it will.
