I was playing halo reach with my friend who has no experience in halo (basically a Playstation player) Who has never played or heard of a game called halo in his lifetime, So anyway back to the main subject so i was playing a game of big team battle and living dead and he left.in both games he got mostly 0 or -1 kills,
So i thought ok fine he’s gone finally to enjoy some living dead action,And then after the match starts it tells me 2 messages mostly here are the 2 messages
BAN MESSAGE #1: This xbox 360 console has been temporaryly banned from earning credits in halo reach
Ban Message #2: This account has been temporaryly earning credits in halo reach
What the hell just happened i thought.So i won the game and guess how many credits it gave me. +1 CR !!!.I was outraged and i was heart broken and i did not know what was going on so have i been hacked or bungie or 343 industries are finding a reason to pick on me please help
P.S i’m a field marshall and i want to rank up,i just can’t earn 1 credit per game please tell me what’s wrong
You were banned due to your guest’s AFK activity.
First time bans tend to last 24-48 hours.
Last friday, I, o Yardbird o, was playing halo with PlatinumPengwin and a fried of our who had never played Halo before. He did terrible, going several games without even a kill. We played for a hour or so and when we logged back on to play later, we were informed that our xbox was banned from earning credits. I do not know why this occured as we did nothing illegal or out of the normal. Please lift this ban as it is very unfair, especially when we didn’t do anything to deserve banning.
I don’t think there is anything that they can do for you at this point.
Is it not the standard 24-48 hour credit ban? Or are you actually no longer allowed to play online anymore?

Sounds like you were banned for AFK activity, first time bans tend to last 24-48 hours.

plus its not afk’ing. they need only to look at video of those matches. hes running around shooting at people. badly, but nonetheless, he was playing the game, which is why this is so frustrating.

The AFK system simply tracks zero kill games, you can’t appeal bans either.
Second time bans tend to be 1-2 weeks.

Bans can not be appealed.
so what help is this limited forum? I pay 60 per year and my friend also, and we cant even level up on a game that also, I purchased with money in real life. Who the H’’’ cares if someones S’’‘s at halo, or in the rare case someone even idles? whats the big deal?(not that I have done that) this is b’’’ and 343 or bungie or whoever is running this poor excuse for a show should be ashamed of themselves for ripping off good people who work hard to buy their games, when they could have easily bought something else. I guess that’s what I get for having faith in the system. I’m the nicest guy in the world until i am slighted. But the justice of this meaningless ban is sadly skewed, a blight upon all that is good. A glimmer of hope, for this community? I think not. As it would be too much to ask to enjoy my evenings with a game that, I love. How I wish that i hated all that was xbox, but unfortunately I do not. I cant. Too many good times were spent in front of my television, so may you and whomever it is that you work for, be outcasts from the society in which gamers seek as a haven, a place to share these said good times but this is a distant memory now, a time that is passing away. Better dust off my N64.

The people to blame are those who AFK in the first place, if they didn’t do it, we wouldn’t have the ban system in place for it.
how long does the banned last for credits?
i have been banned and only thing i can think the reason would be for uiting game or not getting kills i let my son play on my account and hes 3 i dont think its fair to bann an account from recieving credits just because u or your kids cant get enough kills in matchmaking
