I got banned for my guest getting zero kills for many games straight but i dont understand why they ban you for this. it isnt my fault my sister and dad arent good yet but now im scared that this will happen everytime they play and i think this is not fair. i remember my first time playing halo i couldnt get a kill to save my life so you are punishing them for this?
Same thing happened to me because of my girlfriend. I would say stick to custom games of firefight or something

K guys I’m really sorry for wastin every bodies time when I should have done a little reading like I said earlier my son was recently born and my mom in law is here helping. well my brother in law my wife and I play sometimes and I guess while I was out getting groceries my mom in law who is abysmal at all video games played on my wife’s account she said she played several games more than five so I guess that explains it I reviewed her history and all of those games were no kill games I think this reason for banning is a bit silly but then I also think all these different ways to cheat for imaginary stuff is silly thx again I hope my ban ends soon. Btw if my mom in law wants to play and I were to put her as a guest profile would we still get banned??? Just a question but no worries cause I told her I’ll just let her call from now on anyways just trying to see whether I should let crappy people play at all.

As of today. I’ve come to notice that I’m banned from earning any credits. I think it’s due to accidently getting too much 0 - kills games… -Yoink!-, if I had known beforehand. I would’ve just left the game and notify my party, I was getting caught up in a conversation with someone in the room.

I was so close to earning yesterdays first daily challenge, by playing only Swat games.

The bans for AFK players was added late in for Reach, it only tracks zero kill games, which means players who are new/bad at the game can get banned, it is an unfortunate side effect but it is either keep the system in place or let AFKers run rampant, as you can see from this topic, a LOT of people AFK and get caught, imagine how bad it would be if it was 100% ban proof.

You can stick to Custom Games, Firefight, Forge & Campaign until she thinks she is confident to be able to get a few kills a game.

I find it hard when people get banned to sympathies with them. They aren’t just going to ban you for nothing are they? I’m sure you were doing something suspicious OP otherwise this thread wouldn’t exist.

Ok ban was officially lifted 32 hrs after first ban MSG so thx to whoever did that even if your just automated and I’m actually kinda glad to know there are security measures in place I used to hate all that crap so much on HALO3

If it hasn’t been lifted after 48 hours, expect a week long wait.
was just temporarily banned for no reason, the last 2 days i have been receiving a notice saying ive quit too many games recently and i will be banned if i keep it up, and ill admit i had quit 3 or 4 out of frustration, but today i completed 9 games in a row without quitting, then did one or 2 firefights, which i again fully completed to the end, and upon completion when i tried to join another match was told i was banned temporarily for quitting too many matches. i fear i may get unjustly banned and am hoping if that does become the case that you guys may reverse it. thank you for your time and consideration.

It is likely you lagged out of one of the Firefight games, resulting in your team mate(s) going into a different game while you are the left in one, resulting it the quit ban occurring.
Besides, the temporary quit bans last 10 minutes, unless you have received a cR ban, I’d wait it out.

if i did not get banned for hitting the credit cap then what did i get banned for? so far there has been no answer. i was playing score attack firefight grunt Apocalypse all day. did the system get tired of me getting too many head shots in a row? i cant get an answer and like wise i cant get this reversed so should i just twiddle my thumbs after work? clearly there is some sarcasm intended, i could always go play black ops and find out what the future of halo will be like but i do like this franchise more so give me something here to work with. on a side note the grunts do sound like theyre speaking tagalog so for the person who answers satisfactorily, salamat.
if it is credit cap you should still be able to play, just not get credits for a bit. what did your ban say? they usually have a reason.

Once again, you are lagging out, nothing anyone of us can do about it, restart your router.

You don’t get told why you were banned when you receive one, it always says either: You have been temporarily banned from earning cR OR You have been temporarily banned for two weeks from earning cR.
well the quit ban told me why i was being banned so ya, and how are you so sure its me lagging out
