i did not know that not playing and letting your random teamates do all the work is wrong. i just dont like firefight as much as multiplayer so i left my xbox on during tuesday and kept joining firefight games and leaving my xbox for 20 minutes so i could get the weekly challeng without playing that much but now im banned from earning credits. i didnt even do it that much. i just want to earn credits again and have a reason to play halo. how do i get unbanned.

FYI, you can bypass credit bans by using the custom challenges. If you’re credit banned, you can still earn credits with custom challenges. So no worries.

I posted earlier (Page 151) <mark>NOT</mark> banned but I am wondering
are people being reset for AFKing fire fight because I tend to get one AFKer every game while trying to get the weekly and its really starting to annoy me.
They are just standing there ALL game without a care in the world and a lot of them are ranks like Forerunners and Reclaimers.
Also should we post the gamer tags of people who are doing this so moderators can look over their history and see what they did?

AFKing will get you a credit ban only, it takes A LOT of credit bans to get reset.
And no, do not post the GTs of other players that are AFK. Someone throwing theirs out there is one thing, someone else doing it is against the Forum rules. On top of the fact that nobody gets banned manually, its all done through the banhammer program.

I hate AFKers when they are on my team and leave me out to dry If we are already losing bad i have killed them before out of frustration for basically helping the other team win and not doing anything which i consider being a trader a spy a cheater can you get introuble for killing them on your own team ? and also If you see AFKers on another team and kill them can you get introuble ?
Well they got me banned from earning CR pionts and I do take the fall. But I would like them to un bam me I think I learnd my lesson by now. The thing I did I know I will NEVER DO AGAIN!!! All I ask is for 343 to give me the chance back to earn CR points back.

Killing your team mates will risk a player kicking you from the game if they decide to come back while they are AFK.
As for killing AFK players, feel free, it isn’t against the rules.

Bans can not be appealed, you will have to wait it out.
Is there anyway to get unbanned from a permanent ban? Cause ive been banned for a year and i would like to know if i can get unbanned.
why was I banned from halo i did nothing wrong I never quit games i didnt have bad sportsmanship i dont have a mic working. >???
I’m not sure why but my console got banned. I’m really not sure why someone gets banned but I really do think this was unjust. I’ve never come remotely close to attempting to cheat and I very seldom quit early from games although I
have had to a bit more recently due to the fact that my son was just born. Can you lift my ban or tell me what to avoid?

please help! i was playing score attack fire fight matchmaking, grunt apocalypse, and after the match it said i was banned from earning credits! can someone please help and reset this ban?

I would really appreciate if someone could find the reason to my ban. This is my very first ban and I can’t think of ever doing anything wrong.
I created and played a bunch of Custom Challenges in Firefight MM yesterday, but I don’t think that I reached the credit cap. I’m not 100% sure, though. I’ve never done any AFKing, quitting, boosting, modding or any other kind of cheating or unsporting gameplay. One thing though, is that during yesterdays Custom Challenge/Firefight MM combo I worked on some of my Commendations and I somehow got credits twice for getting Longshot to gold, yet after finishing two Firefigh games it resetted itself to silver. I immediatley shut off the game because I don’t want to get a cheat stamp just because the game miscalculates.
Anyhow, I don’t have a problem with the whole “no credits for two weeks”-thing, all I want to know is what I did wrong so that I don’t have to get banned in the future.

No, permanent bans are permanent, there is no appeal process.

First time bans tend to last 24-48 hours.

If your console was just banned and not your account, it is likely somebody else using your Xbox had a ban to stop people from avoiding it and using a different account, your console is banned too.

Was it your account & console banned from earning credits or just your console?

I have had the Commendation thing happen to me a few times, it only mainly happened when I hit the cR cap and it give me the cR, forced it back to a lower rank state, re-done it and so on, but I didn’t keep the cR.
That’s the only reason I can see behind the ban, after looking at your games for the past 24-48 hours, I can’t see anything wrong.
