ok i dont know what i did but i have been banned for almost a week
and its really makeing me mad this banhammer dosent work!
I don’t see how I got banned for network manipulation, except if dropping out of games a lot because of bad internet counts? I don’t know how that works unless if they added up my temp bans from being in lobby, because it has happened a lot this week because other people are on my internet. I just wish they would show me a message or I could get a answer from a admin.

Hawksrock Woody i would say it is for guest AFKing in FF with your CWOODY082 account. You both had some game with either no kills or very little kills and unfortunately the Banhammer can see that as guest AFKing whether you where doing it or not.

I’d like some info on my banning, and am not sure where to go to for info. I can only guess that when I got onto Firefight Doubles with my account and my Guest account last night (nobody else in the game, just me, myself, and I)to get the Sniping daily, it must not have been kosher. I would like clarification,and wish to know how long I’m temporarily banned for. If I was supposed to get an e-mail or something detailing this, I never got it. Any enlightenment at all would be appreciated.
ok, so read a bit into this forum, and apparently letting my guest account be bait and just sitting there is most likely why I got temp-credit-banned. Still would like to know how to check on this for certain though, and how to check on how long the ban will last. Surely there’s some way to check.
Ok, this forum topic seems awfully dead… been reading through, and hope to get some feedback at some point, but my hope is mostly dead now. Are there any more rules to be aware of, other than those stated on the first few pages? tbh, I don’t see how I hurt anybody by guest-afk’ing in a game with only myself in it (which was why I went into a game where max. players was 2, so I wouldn’t mess with others’ game experience), but I understand why the auto-system would pop me. Of course, that’s assuming that’s what the reason was. Has to be, since that is the only thing I can think of. Still would like some info on how to check on that and how long the ban is for. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? (I know, stupid movie reference, but nobody’ll probably read this anyway).

Firstly, you gotta chill. This topic isn’t checked every minute, an hour is a small amount of time to wait. Others get answers quicker at times because someone just happens to be on.
what you described is definitely against the rules. That is a guest AFK ban, first time offense is 24-48 hrs. For the future, you can go into score attack, there is usually a sniper either dropped, or you can pick sniperattack sometimes.
Here is where you can check your stats and games. It looks like you had 6 or 7 games with an AFK guest.

This IS NOT the Ethernet unplug glitch (which I know is bannable). This glitch resets all challenges. I myself do not use this glitch (Just to put your hearts at ease). Could you get banned for doing this glitch?

If abusing it, yes, you will be banned.
I’m chill, I just don’t use forums much. Or most of the internet, really. I just use it for multiplayer videogames (new thing for me, used to be almost exclusive solo rpg) and walkthroughs/hints/tips. Sorry if I seemed “unchill”, or whatever. I’d found the profile part of the site, but was hoping for something that’d tell me details of the banning instead of just an open “your console and acct. are temp. banned from earning credits”. I figured that if I did something like that with other players around they’d prolly be miffed, but didn’t think that it’d matter if I was playing in a game by myself. Ah, well. Won’t do that again.

Ya, it was several games, since you had to get 200 (I think it was 200) sniper kills in ff matchmaking for (i think) 2k cr. I only had a couple hours left in the day, so figured I’d speed things up a bit. C’est la vie. This’ll give Bry a chance to catch up with me, lol. I think she’s still a captain gd. 2. We were the same rank a couple of weeks ago, but I’ve been doing dailies and even got two weeklies (ty Griffball for the close-quarters MM kills the other day! ^_^).
Note: Copy-pasted the rules list in the first pages of this topic, and printed them out to put them on my Gameboard (corkboard/dry erase on my wall next to xbox). Wish they’d have rules for this stuff in an easily accessible place, it’d really help out.

Better be on the safe side and don’t use glitches. Or bugs or workarounds or anything else like that that you might get popped on. Not worth it. For example: if you guest-afk to get a ff mm daily for 2k credits (even if nobody is in the game to get bothered by it) and get banned from earning credits for a day or two or however long it is, that’s a net loss of credits (big net loss). So ya, just not worth it.
On a related side-note, ty Bellsten for listing those rules way back on page 1, much obliged. 
Oh, also, idk if y’all can do this or not, admins, but if you wanted to rollback my account to before I did the mm ff games for the sniper daily or take off the 2k-ish credits (and whatever else I got from the matches themselves, aside from the daily) I got from it I’ll understand, since it was apparently a no-no. Knowing that that was a no-no, I feel kinda bad now about having gotten them like that. This post prolly sounds pretty lame and more than a little corny (it’s not meant to sound lame and corny), but I’ve been taught that you always have to accept the consequences of your actions, whether you knew about them beforehand or not.

Not in the slightest, if you do it accidentally, sure you are ok, but purposely doing the glitch is a bannable offence.
So on Sunday the 14th I’m playing online when all the sudden a message pops up saying I have been banned from earning credits. Two of my friends were banned too. We don’t know why because we were playing mlg and not screwing around. They were unbanned on Wednesday. I am still banned. Anyone care to enlighten me?
I have been gaming with my buddy, like we always do, and now U are banning us from getting credits??!! What the heck for??!! We’ve NEVER had a problem before, and I want to know what we could have possibly done to deserve this. This is Totally unfair, and I want to know what is your issue with us! Please respond asap!
Why don’t you try posting this in the Official why did I get banned thread?. Sorry about the troubles hopefully things can get sorted out there.
