Just a quick question because it is usually overlooked. Is there another GT on your xbox? Like a brother? or a friend that came over? anything like that? If not I can’t think of a reason for you to get banned. But if there is someone here can check the history and let you know if they got your console banned.

I never even checked the links to be honest, I assumed the other person who linked them double checked them, regardless, he’s got banned for something, we can’t track challenge resetting or network manipulation, I’m going to go with one of them.

i did not it was honestly just me. could it be because of my connection being messed up that morning signing me in and out of Xbox live while i was trying to complete challenges?
Hi. My son is relatively new to X-box live. He tells me he has been “temporarily banned” for the last few days from earning credits and he doesn’t know why. Could you please advise how long the ban is for? Also, could you please explain what caused the ban so he can avoid it in the future? Thank you.
Your son has no doubt done one or more of the following:
-Consistently quitting.
-Afk consistently.
-Killed afkers through full-party boosting.
-Earned 0 kills throughout matches consistently. Even if he’s playing, he’l be considered afk because of this.
-Cheating: Basically hacks or something.
Depending on the severity of the case, his ban can range from 10 min. - 1+ week, and in very rare cases, a permanent ban which is a result from hacking.
Considering you said “days”, he’s probably been full-party boosting or something of the sort, or you may have misread a quit probation warning, in which case he can still play, but during a 3-4 day period, he must not quit during the allotted time, otherwise the probation may last longer. The quit “ban” only lasts 10 min, so just wait the 10 min. out and go back to online matchmaking or whatever you guys want to do.
If you make excuses such as so-and-so used my account to play and they’re terrible at the game, that falls under your responsibility and you must accept the consequences. If you have bad internet connection, reset the router or get a better computer.
I was playing with my friend who was horrible at halo and he kept team killing and getting me booted. Then he started an idea of mongoose bombs as in making it go on fire and ramming it into the enemy vehicle which resulted in multiple deaths. Let me update you, Moa. You don’t get banned for one game. You get banned if you do the unacceptable behavior in 5games in a row. So you might want to start posting more than one game.

Got a source for this? First I have heard for it, and besides, there is no point be going through finding multiple games when the most recent offence is on the one game I usually link.

I think it will be my fourth ban, my previous ban was for a month or three months or something.

Fourth ban eh?
It could be anywhere from a 1-6 months, I have never ran into anyone who has been banned over two times.
As for your brother, your console is banned from earning credits, when your account ban expires, so will the console one, meaning your brother won’t be able to earn credits for a while either.

Honestly from what I have seen personally, It’s 3 games. At least 2 in a row. Thats just an pobservation I have made when looking through histories. Usually if they get banned, they have 3 0 kill games in a row. Once or twice there would be a 2 games with no kills, then a game with kills, then no kills again. 5 games is a little outlandish.
I am so pissed that I get the house to myself tonight I get credit banned this is absolutely ridiculous now I won’t even play because to me it is completely pointless it’s like working for free & very few people love things enough to do such a thing I dono what to do now my night is ruined whoever plays me tomorrow is gonna have alot of built of anger thrown at them virtual style
The main reasons for a credit ban are stuff like going AFK for a couple of games, or boosting with AFK guests. And 9.99999999999999 out of 10 people that say ‘I did nothing wrong’ did something wrong.
