I have been banned from getting credits for over 48 hours. It says that the console and my halo account have been banned. My boyfriend also plays on my xbox and his account is banned too. We have no idea why or how long this is suppose to last.
Ive read some of these posts and saw that if you get 0 kills, 3 games in a row then you get banned. We are just learning to play and are not that good so that might be the problem. Is there any place where we can see why the ban and for how long? What can we do to get the ban removed?

The ban is likely 1-2 weeks long and it was for AFKing activity.
As for an appeal to it, they don’t exist, you can’t appeal a Halo 3 or Reach ban.

First off, it’s not about getting banned (because i’m smart enough to be afk and i play offline with guests.)
So anyways, hypothetically, if i play 3 games in a row of halo ball, where it’s not possible to get kills and scores don’t count, could i get credit banned?
I don’t idle, i actually try to score, but i checked afterwards, and it doesn’t count as an objective.

It appears I was credit banned for trying to do the flat tire challenge so I could have my 4 challenges and get the weekly… After reading some of these posts it appears I was banned for AFK but the only way I could get the Flat Tire challenge is on 2 or more player… why can I not do this singaly?? I tried several times on holdout and Installation 4, but singaly I got no kills on the vehicles, only on two player… I wanted a quiet evening of gaming not really playing with anyone else, had my kid play a bit with me until bed time… now I cant get finish this tonight, and I doubt there will be another night where I can do all 4 challenges on one night by myself to finish the weekly before this one is over… kind of unfair… please fix the flat tire challenge, of course unbanning my console right away would be nice… maybe even just give me the 5 more vehicles that i have tried for the last 4 hours to kill so i can have the weekly would be the nicest

You can. Your best bet for vehicle kills doing it by yourself is in Score Attack,
- Sniper Attack, Installation 04, it varies on the number of banshees, but I have gotten up to 5 plus the turret for a total of 6.
or
- 2x Score Attack Beachhead (on beachhead only beat them down or sticky them.) Usually 2 per game but not always.
or
- Gruntpacolypse, Installation 04 using the sniper rifle (if it drops & it takes 5 shots or do 4 and finish with dmr) or the plasma launcher.
Oh and PS stay away from that AFK’ing it sucks to get banned. lol

You don’t get banned for playing the Objective, regardless of the zero kills.

Nope, if it says temporary, it tends to mean 24-48 hours, usually or it can last up to 1-2 weeks.
So im guessing theres no one here who actually works for 343 that can unbann me? W t f
First time I have done AFK, not even really thinking and I am against cheaters. I played for over 4 hours trying to figure out how to do that challenge most of the games were single player on beachhead, Holdout, Installation , and corvette… when I was single player I killed over 12 banshees, 3 tanks, and 4 or 5 ghosts and got zero points in the challenge for them, so I read some forums and it said get a friend and play 2 or mare players to get the points so I tried with my kid… same maps and game types and all of a sudden I started getting the points for killing vehicles on the flat tire challenge… so i figured I could finally do it and get it done, then my son had to go to bed so I left his controller on for (I know, my mistake but I was getting the challenge done)a couple of games Im not a great player so getting vehicles became a lot harder, anyway I got to 6 and then got banned… my brother said he does it all the time singaly as well and I tried his method, no points, so I am not sure what the difference is, but it appears I am screwed and its all multi player challenges tonight so Im out of luck again…

You have to actually kill the vehicle before the driver/pilot, with the settings on Firefight, killing the driver is very common before destroying the vehicle.

I dont modd so i want to talk to the manager. Or whoever heads your department. Right now! I even spent 9 hours on the phone with microsoft trying to figure out the number. I would love to talk to the head of what you guys do. RIGHT NOW

Moa, Check the last 3 links again. The DNFs may count. But at the very least the last 3 links were custom games. The maps are *death of red vs blue *NPG metting (x2)
The system doesn’t ban for customs now do they?
I was banned the other day and i don’t know why…
I don’t cheat
I don’t boost
I don’t quit
i don’t reset challenges
and I most definitely do not go AFK because it hurts my K/D.
The only thing that could have happened was a glitch the day before in firefight that i didn’t even do. i got a 5000 credit bonus from the slot machine. i wasn’t on this profile it was on my other one that i made for my brothers girlfriend named PinkityToBlragh.
I got her profile to major in three days and i never even hit the credit cap. That’s about 10-11 hours of playing a day…
Can someone please help me?
