I have been mute banned for months. Does the mute ban ever end???
> I have been mute banned for months. Does the mute ban ever end???
Mute bans as far as any one of us know, have no end, they last forever.
For anyone else who posted asking why they were banned, I will reply to you all soon.
> I have been mute banned for months. Does the mute ban ever end???
like Moa said it wont get removed, if a player wants to hear you again he/she will have to unmute you.
> Would you please let me know why my account is banned from earning credits? It has been banned for several days from earning credits and twice in the last 2 days has been banned temporarily for quitting too many games.

> I don’t ever quit games. I was just playing and got another temporary ban for quitting and I never quit this time either. I have no idea what is going on and would like this resolved please. Thank you
Could you tell me what day your account was banned from earning credits?
> why was myself (brac12207) and i n33d a toil3t temp. banned from earning credits on halo reach? we have done nothing wrong and deserve an explaination… and btw what is the reasoning behing not updating the bungie website anymore?
You were boosting in multiple games…
TU FFA Slayer on Countdown
TU FFA Slayer on Countdown 2
TU FFA Slayer on Pinnacle
There are more but I think you get the point.
i n33d a toil3t was banned for the same thing…
TU FFA Elite Slayer on Pinnacle
TU FFA Slayer on Sword Base
TU FFA Slayer Pro on Powerhouse
First time bans tend to last 24-48 hours.
Bungie had to stop stat tracking as part of the final transition of handing full control of Halo over to 343 Industries, Bungie now no longer has any part of Halo or control over it, you can find the new stats pages on this website.
> Am currently getting the message of Xbox console and account being banned from earning credits. So my question is about how long does it last so i can get to earning credits. This like the first time this has happend in my long history of playing Halo multi-player in any of games?
First time bans tend to last 24-48 hours.
> Hello,
> I was banned last Tuesday for credit earnings and another player that was with my on the same console was banned as well. However I was within the credit limit amount and haven’t got the slightest idea why we were banned. My partner and I accts are (Whatthegaybob, and Aridlemon46). I am concerned with how long the ban is seeing that Aridlemon46 was her first day playing on the account and we had just created it. As for Whatthegaybob I am just wondering how long it will be banned for.
First time bans tend to last 24-48 hours, any longer is usually 24-48 hours.
As far as I can see, this game was VERY boost friendly: TU FFA Slayer Pro on Reflection
banned from earning credits? I really don’t think I’ve played enough for this, BUT I HAVE NO IDEA LOL
> banned from earning credits? I really don’t think I’ve played enough for this, BUT I HAVE NO IDEA LOL
Boosting
First time bans tend to last 24-48 hours, but for the love of online gameplay, drop this sort of gameplay: It really isn’t fun for others.
Hey guys, A couple of months back my rank was reset. One day I just went on to play some Halo Reach, before that day I hadn’t played for about 2 months I believe it was. I’m not sure of the reason, or if im even posting in the correct area. I have never boosted multiplayer as far as I remember but for some reason I was reset. I recently started playing Reach again, with a low rank and little to no credits. Before I was reset I had somewhere around 850000 (850k) credits and was very close to buying my pestilence. Now I’m not sure if it’s possible for my reset to be lifted, but even if It’s not I would appreciate a response on why I was reset, so hopefully I can be noticed and responded to, I don’t want to make the same mistake I did last time, as it took me about 19+ hours to reach my rank of general grade 2. Thank you for your time reading this.

Well this is a -Yoink- -Yoink- system and i hope they fix it by the time 4 comes out.

Rank resets don’t get reversed unless they were by mistake, all rank resets back in the day when Bungie controlled Reach, were manually done.
First off i love you 343 but i think its insane everyone is scared out of there minds about being banned i mean my stepbrother sucks he gets like 0-2 kills a game but i refuse to play anything but custom with him now because im afraid that the banhammer is going to come down and ive been banned once for being stupid. Now heres my question how many times can you get banned for boosting/quitting before its permanent

About 6-7 times, probably even more, you get a LOT of chances.
As for your hate against the system, 343i is not to blame, the AFK ban detection was a late addition to the ban hammer from Bungie as it was only discovered after Reach’s release, it was either let AFKers run rampant or implement a system to ban AFKers via zero kill games.
Wait, hold the phone here. I can get banned for games where I don’t get any kills? I have no delusions about the fact that as a newbie that I often suck on toast in these matchmaking games, but should I be banned for sucking?

Nope, you shouldn’t be, but there is no way to differentiate a bad player from an AFK player, it is one or the other, to be frank, I prefer it this way, AFKing is discouraged.
Hello good evening
I got an XBox Live account yesterday and played half the night on Halo Mulitplayer.
I’m quite new to this and with 48 years not too accustomed to the system.
This morning I found the ban message with not being able to collect credits. I’m completely unaware of what I did wrong.
Could anybody please help me with an explanation so I know what went wrong and how to avoid it in the future. I’m not very good at the moment with 0 to 4 kills per game and that is frustrating enough. If I get punished now for not being good enough then there is no point in continuing to play, is it?
Many greetings and thanks in advance,
Kraehe

I can tell you without looking at your game history that you were banned for AFK activity.
First time bans tend to last 24-48 hours.
Last night I feel asleep while waiting for a new game to dart and when I woke it said I was temporarily credit banned but not for how long I just want to know where I can go to find out.
If it is your first ban, it tends to last 24-48 hours.
I was playing last night for a couple of hours trying to finish up the daily challenge when I received the temp credit ban message. I have never seen this message before. I am looking for help to figure out why this occurred;especially since I was only 5 wins away from finishing. Any help would be greatly appreciated…especially if I can get the ban lifted. Thanks ahead time for any help and / or advice.
Is it possible for a first time ban to be longer than 24-48 hours? Last night my friend and I AFKed in 4 games of arcadefight so I know it was deserved. Just wondering how long it will be. I’m guessing this one will be 24-48 considering it is my first ban and the offense was minimal?
This is pretty funny.
It’s a bunch of AFKers and boosters whining that they got banned.
And then there are the people with the crappy guests.
PLAY OFFLINE. it’s not that hard. I’ve played with guests who have never played an FPS before. They still got around 4 kills per game. If they didn’t get a kill, we just played offline. It’s not that hard to understand.
tl;dr?
- Boosters and AFKers whining that they got banned for breaking the rules.
- people with guests who can’t get a kill. And don’t understand how to play offline or play grifball or other easy playlists.
