Looking back over it I realized I was watching them play when he was a quest but when my other brother-in-law (Zombie Salads) left we had diner then the friend played on the Zombie Salads profile.

No problem Moa. I feel you’re helping by explaining to others and making them aware of what can be considered cheating. I agree that cheating sux. Being hit with the Ban Hammer for playing with a less skilled player does too.

Your router does not mean your internet will become drastically better, you need to upgrade your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and ask for an upgrade.

I would guess your ban is 2 weeks.
Yesterday and today, i started doing the daily challenges. After a bit, they reset back to 0. I’ve seen this happen before, but usually when you start another game, or just start searching, they update again. Yesterday, they did not. I earned a copule of them back, thinking there was a glitch, and then they vanished again. I also realized later in the day, that I had only earned 1K worth of credits - due to the first challenge yesterday. After that, no credits.
Today, i again started the challenges, watching to make sure I recieved credits - which I did. I just went back to play some more, and my challenges are reset to 0 - or incomplete again. I am sure if I try to play I will not receive credits. I have been credit banned in the past - for AFK’ing in FF - Ok, so I learned to not do that. This time, however, I am not sure why or if I am even banned, as I do not receive a message when I sign in. Can you tell me if I am banned - and if so, why? Also, if not banned, do you know what might be causing this?

It was a global issue and we informed in this http://halo.xbox.com/forums/games/f/7/p/26666/213992.aspx#213992 post. However, as Bs Angel told, nobody gets banned. The problem is fixed.

I was mute banned and my mouth is as pure as the pope i dont play music on my mic and i dont have a kinect the worst thing i said on multiplayer is calling someone stupid for team killing me

Hi. My roommate was banned the other night from earning cR, and consequently, I was banned too as I’m on the same console.
I’m not here to whine and complain… I just want answers. Then I will make my way back to b.net and leave you all alone.
My roommate does AFK a little… not for full games. (For example: She will text and/or type on the computer during the death screen, and for a bit after looking like she’s AFK for a bit until she picks up the controller). Was this enough for a cR ban? I can’t see any other reason she would have been banned for 24 hours, and I definetely don’t want her or me to get banned again.
She tried to blame it on her sis who occasionally plays on her profile, and does the same thing. I just want answers… does standing still for 1/3 of the game warrant a ban? If so I’m going to be setting ground rules.

It looks like on 8/30/11 your roommate did a little more AFKing than a quick text or so during the death screen. Your roommate on any other day manages to get kills and medals until 8/30/11 and there are multiple games with no kills or medals.
As for your ban, unfortuantly they not only ban the tag but the console to keep people from switching to another account and continue the offense. In this case you appear to be guilty by association with the swing of the banhammer.

Hmm. That was the day my roommate’s sis was playing on her account.
She says she didn’t AFK very much… and I know she’s telling the truth. She is actually pretty bad, and doesn’t get kills in all her games.
I’ve heard of this before… people getting banned for not getting any kills. That’s pretty stupid, and that should be changed.
She sucks. She’s 17 and has barely played Halo. She was home all day and bored, so decided to play some Halo with my friends.
