It was a team game and I had a guest on my xbox

And in the end, everyone but you and your guest were left in the game?
You two were the ones who lagged out by the sounds of it then.

Ok, so if that is true that we lagged out. Why were we awarded with the win and points? Surely the reason for applying a quitting ban is so that players do not intentionally leave games due and ruin it for everyone else. This is clearly not what has happened, if I had a power cut which does happen from time to time. I assume that I would also be penalised, as all the system would record is a player leaving the game prematurely.

The quit ban is to punish you for lagging out of a game, qutting a game, turn your console off, turning your power off or anything like that.
You are always awarded the credits that you earn in a game, even if you are kicked/botted.
I have told you why you were quit banned, nothing else you can do about it apart from fixing the constant drops you have by contacting your ISP.
My kids got xbox at xmas. My 9 year plays all the time (eagerestbasher2. On 3/26/12 I signed up for the family membership, and started to play myself online (footedcross848). I suck, in arena play I usually get 0/1 kills (sometime negative cause I fall off a cliff).
Can you tell us why we were credit banned 2 days ago? Was it me or him, or both?
Thanks
Hi I noticed that while playing Halo Reach multiplayer that I was not getting the credits for the daily challenges and then when I started up Halo I got a message This Xbox 360 console has been temporarily banned from earning credits. I have never experienced this before do you know what I can do to fix that. I AM ONLY AT LEGEND RANK, I HAVE IN THE PAST GOT ALL DAILY CHALLENGES DONE AND THE WEEKLY AT THE SAME TIME. I ALSO DIDN’T GET THE CREDITS FOR COMPLETING YESTERDAYS CHALLENGES. I LOVE THIS GAME AND RIGHT NOW I FEEL LIKE IF THIS DOESN’T GET REMOVED I WILL STOP PLAYING ALTOGETHER, THE CHALLENGES ARE WHAT KEEPS ME COMING BACK EACH DAY.

footedcross848 was banned in this game: TU Arean Slayer on Synapse, for AFKing activity by the looks of it, first time bans should expire 48 hours after the ban was given.
He got the account cR ban and your console was cR banned to prevent you from going on a second account to bypass the cR ban.

Your were banned due to the AFK activity shown by your guest who received zero kills in this game: Elite Slayer on Reflection.
First time offences tend to last 24-48 hours, usually after that it is 1-2 weeks.
If that is the case (banned for the game listed), then I am in trouble (footedcross848). I remember that game, only one of a few I played with my son and his friend. Against an inheritor, general, colonel and a captain. I could do nothing, bullets bounced off of the other guys, and they pummeled me every time.
So… I tried very hard against the other team, no sitting and no waiting. Look at the stats for my son’s friend, a general, he could not do much either Which means it will happen again. That does not seem right, but whatever.
I have tried setting the switch to play at my skill level, sometimes that works, but sometime I wait 15 min and have to give up.
Questions then
WHEN I get banned for playing bad again, can I continue to play to get better during the ban, and suffer no consequences?
Also, If I continue to play bad and get banned, can this lead to a permanent ban? That would not seem right.

You were banned for AFKing activity, I know it sucks to be on the receiving end of it but if such system was not in place, players would be allowed to cheat a heck of a lot more than they can now as the AFK banning system was added late in Reach due it being overlooked pre-launch.
You will continue to be banned for zero kill games, especially if it is constant, keep in mind the ban hammer only bans you after three games of the same behaviour, so it has to happen a lot for another ban to occur.
It can lead to a permanent credit ban after A LOT of and I mean A LOT temporary bans.
Hi. I do indeed have a question.
I just found myself getting temporarily credit banned after playing Halo: Reach the whole day with my girlfriend’s little brother. I’m wondering what the exact reason for my ban is? Is it because my Guest(1), her brother, barely ever got any kills? If so, isn’t that unfair? I even saved a lot of the matches from today so I have proof that there was indeed somebody playing as my guest. Somebody who actually tried killing people. If it’s another reason, please state which. I cannot think of any other.
My Gamertag is o Gcubed o.

You were banned because your guest showed AFK activity in this game: SWAT on Reflection
First time offences tend to last 24-48 hours.

I just went down to the living room and uploaded that match to my file share. Please watch the film, my guest was playing the entire time.
So, nothing’s going to be done about it? I am going to have to wait this unfair ban out and live with the fact that I didn’t get my 2400 cR from the One Shot Gold commendation? That’s . . . meh.
Bans can not be appealed.
Well, I know why I was banned, cause I was boosting those hard to get Defiant achievements with idle controls. Just trying to figure out how long the credit ban is for. 48 hours? It is my first boosting ban.

It usually is 24-48 hours.

Fair enough. Thanks.
Sorry, I think I posted in the wrong place the first time. I am new to this
So I am re-posting here in the off chance the other one gets deleted.
I just recently purchased the Star Wars console and got everything moved over from previous console. Went in to play Halo Reach, which is the only game I play online, and starting having internet issues. The game would act like it was loading but would all the sudden drop before game play could even begin. This happened a few times and I got mad and shut the game off. The next day went in to see if the same thing would happen, when an message came up saying that I had dropped too many games recently and that I would not be able to start matchmaking. Was not sure what this meant so I called Xbox to see what was going on. They told me that I had been banned from matchmaking. Not sure what was all going on with the internet but I contacted them and was told that a fiber optic cable had been cut around the time I was trying to play. How do I fix this so I can go back to matchmaking?
ALSO WHEN TALKING TO XBOX THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED TO GO TO BUNGIE.NET AND POST TO THEIR FORUM FOR HELP. HOWEVER, BUNGIE.NET HAS POSTED THAT AS OF 3/31/2012 THEY ARE NO LONGER HELPING WITH GAMING ISSUE AND LIST HALO.XBOX.COM AS THE SITE TO GO.
So here I am and I hope someone can help me.
i am banned for 2 weeks my problem my gold expires in a week Please remove my ban i need to rank up
Sorry bud, but asking nicely isn’t going to lift your ban any sooner. You obviously did something to result in a two week ban and have to pay for such actions.
