Lsten, I don’t know what your issue is, but you clearly understand I’m not the only person who thinks what your friend was doing was messed up. I shouldn’t have to quit out of a game because one or 2 people want to act like they’re brain dead. The point of slayer games is to get KILLS, not jump off the map and suicide. Its only fun for him in that scenario. In BTB there are 15 others, 14 not counting you. Thats 14 other people who are robbed of a decent match because 2 people want to act like that.
And you haven’t been banned because you haven’t triggered the banhammer with your “fun”. But here is a challenge for you. Go 5 games in a row in MM without getting a kill. Suicide 25 times, whatever, but do not kill anyone on the other team, garunteed you’ll get banned, then you can come on here and ask why.

Depends on how many bans you’ve had before. If its the first time those are usually 24-48 hrs. After that it can be anywhere between 48 hrs to 2 weeks.

well i just broke my xbox anyway
So I really don’t know why I got banned. I suppose it was from being booted for betrayals. I never boot on the first betrayal, especially if it seems like it could have been an accident (stray wraith shot). I have been playing Halo since Combat Evolved and I’ve never been banned and never quit games. I never try to start anything and find it quite frustrating that I can’t play this game, that I paid for. How long do these temporary bands last anyway? I guess its back to Call of Duty.

Can this please be looked at im 50,000 credits away from being a general. I got the first strike in the game and i died then it popped up saying this account and xbox has temporaily been banned from earning credits?mabye this should be looked at. I understand people cheat and they should get banned but I can’t be the only one who’s played with family members who are just terrible at video games?

Alright guy, you’ve made your point about me being right multiple times now and it’s getting redundant. You can get banned for playing the game. I never claimed it to be fun for anybody but ourselves. As I said, if they are upset they can leave with little consequence.

I see what you are getting at. I can understand in some matches where you and that other guy are just having fun goofing around in a mongoose and stuff like that. Hell, not much is funner than giving a ride to the enemy team in a guass hog. Shenanigans ensue…so does rage.
But in some matches ya’ll just went -30…I mean c’mon. Sure you’re playing, but that isn’t really…super cool or anything. I’m willing to bet you could have had even more fun doing other stuff, and that stuff wrecks yer K/D.
BUT, I know for a fact when you have a suicider on your team and they go that bad (or good in their case…), and someone still wins, they feel like a freaking boss.

That’s why. If your guests get 0 kills, the game thinks you’re boosting.

You asked a question and you got an answer, just because you don’t like the responses I give you doesn’t mean they aren’t right. You haven’t been banned because the program follows a pettern, and I have personally noticed from checking over 50+ player histories, it’s usually 3 games in a row with 0 kills. So again, go 5 without kills, and you’ll get banned.
And I don’t recall proving your point. If anything you are making my point more valid because of how ignorant you are. So everyone else in the game should quit because you don’t wanna play the game the RIGHT way? No, it’s much better you and your friend both get banned.

Anyone can pull the ‘my girlfriend did this or my family member did that’.
In regards to AFK and zero kills, my son (who’s 5) and wife play Reach from time-to-time and routinely get zero kills. Our account was banned today. We never quit games or mod or betray. Heck, I just learned what AFK meant. So, if you suck, you get banned. How is that fair?
