> Ok, sooo…Apparently ThreeRevGen is your 5 year old (Although the game is rated M for mature meaning 17 and older). Here are some games that you two played together in 2X Score attack.

> You can look at his game history Here. check his last 15 games, 12 had 0 kills. The computer program that does the banning will definitely ban for that. Although, at 5 I don’t see why he would worry about credits, a credit ban doesn’t stop you from playing online. So you guys can still play together, but If he isn’t going to get kills, then he will be banned. Plus it seems that Halo might be too complicated for a 5 year old, which is probably why doesn’t have an E rating.
Ok I think I am getting the picture…
and BTW: I was using ‘ThreeRevGen’ on those games, not my son. He is always using OneRevGen… I guess because I am pretty lousy at the game, or because I have to step away to check on they daily house stuff (laundry, dishes, and the like)… he got banned. That is still pretty low in my opinion, as normal folks playing the game that have many priorities, can cause ban issues.
Credits are important to him… the guy is mastering math because of his love of the game, and he really tries to read what all the medals are for, and buys armor whenever he can. So when he doesn’t get credits, he gets all distressed because he can’t buy armor… and asks “Why did I get 0 credits?”… so you can imagine what is happening every time we play this game… (if you have a kid that says “are we there yet” you will know what I mean when my son says…)
“Why did I get 0 credits?”…“Why did I get 0 credits?”…“Why did I get 0 credits?”…“Why did I get 0 credits?”…“Why did I get 0 credits?”…“Why did I get 0 credits?”…
You get the picture.
Again, he is pretty good. He alone has gotten to Lt. Colonel, I actually like watching him play and point out things on the screen that help. It is definitely not complicated for him, but I did have to mute people because of the language many of the players use, which is something we don’t say.
There are games that I don’t let him play, because of the gore… such as Skyrim, where people’s heads can get chopped off or Dragonage, where it looks like you showered in blood every time you get in to a fight. Halo is really tame when it comes to gore compared to these other games. It actually looks like a paintball war game at times.
But I grew up with Halo, and my best friends play with there 5, 6, 7 year olds kids Halo because it is fun to watch them get ton of confidence playing against their dads and winning, which is almost impossible to physically do otherwise in the real world.
It is an enormous confidence booster in my book, and it definitely helps them add and subtract credits, because of the armor aspect to it.
But I wish I knew how to get his temporary credit ban lifted, so that he can earn credits and buy more armor while I am here in the country with him.
Cheers
A
