There’s a pretty small number of things that can get you banned. AFKing games, guest boosting are basically it.
You shouldn’t have to ask why you got banned for not playing for three hours.
Is this a temp bann or credit cap of the day or something I can’t seem to figure this out. I’ve not been notified of a ban or a daily credit cap message yet and I’m just laying waste to covies in firefight while all along trying to beat the scores of my friends on the top left hand corner if no one believes me check my game history and see my scores and kills.
Ok, let me roll this out, I don’t boost for Cr nor do I leave my account running in Fire fight or any game type for that matter to boost for Cr, now I’ve been playing all day legit in firefight and I’ve noticed my Cr is not going up, I’ve not got a message yet stating I have reached my online credit daily cap. I know this because I start a game pause the game see where my credit limit is get a few kills and I see that it goes up, however when the game ends and it shows the bar moving mine does not move and it shows the credits I have are still the same as they where before why is this? I just ended a game and I paused it just before the round ended to check where I was at and it says I’m at
185926 now that the games over with I see the credits screen and it says I’m still at 1858452 this isn’t making sense.
Hello, last week I was playing totally normal in halo reach aniversary and suddenly, I was got temporally banned, I would like to know the main reason of this, cause I have been a good player and always with full respect to other players, please could you tell me when can I play normally again?, greetings.
Never mind figured it out; apparently somewhere in all my games I didn’t notice it but I was notified. I guess, I just didn’t notice it at the time, however I am confused on why it showed me still earning credits very strange. While playing Swat on Halo: Reach, my console was banned from receiving credits. I have not modified the console in any way, I am not an aggressive player, I play honestly, and just about every night. Earlier that night I played with my wife and brother, who are both inexperienced, so needless to say, they didn’t play too great, but it was obvious they were really trying to play the game, not AFKing. I have done research and realize this is more than likely the reason for my ban. However, I’m wondering how long it will last. I would also like to make sure this is the reason I was banned. My son was temporarily banned from earning credits. How can I find out why he was banned. From reading some of the forums I believe it was caused from him leaving games. If this is the case, I feel that it is unfair. How can I find out why he was Temp. banned?
I think that if they can temp. ban you, then they should have to 1)give you a reason why 2) tell you how long it is going to be 3)You should be able to speak to them to review your case/status. I think they are the ones who need to man-up
I would appreciate it if you could tell me why my account says its temporarily banned, and the console that i am allowed to play on at my friends home says it is as well along with his account. i called xbox support and asked them and they advised me to let ya’ll know we have had some equipment issues with our controllers shutting down and the wires not staying on charge. please let me know what i need to do and if i can fix this…more so for my friend even than myself. how long does this kind of thing last and what needs to be done. thank you

Dude, you have to relax for real. There isn’t a single person that gets paid by 343 strictly to monitor this website. There are 2 343 employees that are on this site (that I know of) All the other mods are doing it by volunteering. Their jobs aren’t to respond to complaints.
After looking through this latest ban you got, nothing in YOUR game history suggests that you did anything. HOWEVER, if you have any other accounts on your console, i.e your wife, nephew, son, grandson. Post the GT and I’ll look through the history for you. If someone else uses their GT on your console and they get banned on your console, all GTs on that console get banned. So that is the only possibility I can see for you.

Your son had guest controllers logged on getting 0 kills. If it’s a first offense it’ll be over in 24-48 hrs. After the first time the length varies 48 hrs-2 weeks. Let your son know that if he uses guest controllers to go into custom games so this won’t happen again.

If the guests had too many games with 0 kills then that is the reason. As stated above. The first time is normally 24hrs. After that it goes anywhere from 48 hrs to 2 weeks.
Not played for 3 hours??? That is NOT true. Where in the heck do you see this? When you post stuff like this that isn’t true, you need to edit it with corrections. i have NEVER AFKed with my GAMERTAG, but when my guest have in the past such as my wife and grandson i learned then what AFKing meant. Since my last 1 Week Temporary Ban for my guests AFKing i haven’t played with a guest again so i wouldn’t risk being banned again. I haven’t AFKed or anything that justifies THIS 2 Week Temporary Credit Ban.

i don’t have a Family Gold Membership so no one can use my Gamertag or account other than myself. My wife doesn’t even like playing anymore and my 6 year old grandson rarely visits and when he does he can’t get into my account even if he wanted to play. You reviewed my history and can see i did nothing wrong. The only thing i can figure is that i was hacked, but i would see the game history. There is no history of me being hacked at least from what i can see. This sucks, because i was only about 2 days from a promotion that i’ve been working very hard on and earned honestly.

Well not on your account, like I can go to my friends house and download my GT on to his XBox, and it’s still my account getting charged. So if your grandson comes over, and he has his own GT if he downloaded it to your xbox itll do it.
Do this and let me know if you see anything, and if there is then I’ll check for you.
When your on the main xbox screen, sign out of your GT. Go back in to sign in, but instead of choosing a GT just scroll through, and see if there are other names that have xbox live under them. If yours is the only one then I don’t know what to tell you. If there are others, it is possible they got banned, and then reach, or the banhammer recognized the same GT on your xbox and banned your console, thats the only thing I can think of.
Could someone please check my Gt and tell me why it was banned.

You have a lot of games with 1 or less kills and the ban hammer sees that as AFKing.
