> It’s called common sense. Why should you earn credits for not playing the game? Technically, that’s taking advantage of a glitch in the credit payout system. One that you fully took advantage of on numerous occasions by AFK’ing in numerous games. If memory serves me, taking advantage of known exploits is bannable… if not mentioned by Bungie, it is most definitely acknowledged by Xbox LIVE’s Terms of Use that you accept to create an account.

> Ranking up without actually playing would be considered exploiting a bug to gain unfair advantage. You are gaining credits without playing. Doesn’t matter whether you did this before it was “officially” listed as a rule. It’s a breach of your Xbox LIVE Terms of Use. Would you prefer being reported to Xbox LIVE instead of just losing the ability to earn cR in Halo : Reach?

If you are going by that, then credit boosting with the Target Locator on ONI would be ban worthy as well. It’s definitely abusing a bug. But it’s not bannable. I still agree, AFKers should be banned, but not people who get 0-2 kills a game in MM. Reporting people doesn’t help either. I’ve played 15 games with the same Afker before, and I reported him after every game anddddd Nothin’ happened to them.
Also, Some people just honestly suck. My friend’s wife got 1 kill in a game and got a 2 day ban. Same game I watched her drop down behind someone and then run because they “scared” her. She’s also the Only person I know that I can’t play Halo with because of her awfulness lol.
