Why did I get a ban for quitting games?

I haven’t quit a game in months and I’ve just been temporarly banned from matchmaking due to quitting whats the deal thats not cool at all?

It depends on how many times you recently quit. If you quit many games, (not necessarily all in a row), you’ll be put on a probation which lasts ten minutes. But if you quit after your probation is up, you get banned. I don’t know for how long, but you will get banned from quitting.
Just to ease you, quitting a game after not quitting for months won’t count towards the ban. Only the number of games recently quit, will count. And don’t worry, the ban won’t last long.

I know all that but I haven’t quit any games at all. And I mean any I’d rather lose then quit.
