I just got 4 placement games in a row where I was matched with Levels 2-22 as a level 50. Idk what the other team’s ranks were, but it felt like they were partied up because they all knew what they were doing.
One game a guy was AFK…
Next one, a guy quit early after sitting at his base for 8 minutes and woke up to a scarab on his doorstep…
Then I get rushed by flamers(could’ve taken this out easily). One teammate quits because a Jerome has TFH Jackrabbits and his pretty much slaughtering everything and my other teammate gets roflstomped by said Jerome and Marines.
That same -Yoinking!- game, I got lagged into the future at the 0:02 second mark. For some reason, the game froze for 8 seconds in the real world but I skipped like double that in the game. Like WTF:expressionless:!!! Both of my teammates were on their 3rd building slot and I was still halfway through my first…
To be honest you’re not supposed to dodge in the first place. I understand the frustration though with having bad teammates. If teammates can’t kill Heroic AI they most likely can’t beat real people.
Thank God 2 guys disconnected the next game on the enemy team.

That’s the reason why I mostly play 1vs1, I hated team games in Halo Wars 1, I hate them in 2. I wouldn’t mind playing with the forum though but randoms…man…
Because dodging was a legitimate problem that exploited the system to artificially inflate your MMR. Lots of players abused it, and it needed to be fixed.

I never understood why people would do placement matches with randoms. I prefer team games by far but I can’t trust randoms, so I only play ranked 3s and 2s with friends. When playing solo I go 1s or team war. Occasionally I find someone decent to try ranked with.
