As the title states, I’m of the opinion that combining the two modes is a MISTAKE, I DO NOT like spawning with a power weapon that can reliably cross map and it only pushes me further away from playing this title.

I do see what you’re saying everyone has their opinion i for one love BR starts but the fact they change everything just to change it I stupid. I will say however launch site plays 10 times better with BR starts….

should have just made it an opt in checkbox just like MCC. Forcing people into a radically different playstyle just isn’t cool and in my opinion not having BR starts in team slayer is probably the LAST thing that was driving players away.

It’s not even close to being a power weapon. BR starts are just better than spray and pray. Sure it’d be better if we had separate playlists for them but not for the reasons you’re saying that’s for sure.

I hated Team Slayer playlist and when I get challenges I skip them, but now it has BRs I don’t mind playing it for challenges.
That being said, the playlist isn’t designed for me. Hopefully the changes show them a drop in playlist numbers so they can change the BR weighting for you guys. If people play it more then I’m sorry but BRs will have to stay.
I know a few people that like BR starts, but not ranked so they like the change.
Halo Infinite is the first Halo where I think AR starts actually works well.

Maybe in Australia or something but as a Northern Irish player I get matches almost always within 30 seconds and my ping varies from 30 - 100.
Don’t enforce your own experiences as fact.
I play in Boston, it takes years to find a game and it’s just a lagfest.

Nope, I play from Australia and I find matches in under a minute with less then 100 ping, usually around 35.
I think the inclusion of BR starts helps give us somewhere that’s sort of a training grounds for ranked. I hope BR starts comes to BTB in some small capacity too
