What do you guys think? Honestly, this one has so much more creativity than the one that 343 stuck out with. I really hope they can possibly change this soon because whatever these employees were thinking, they obviously had no common sense.
I like it. I honestly think UI changes will happen in an update at some point.

I want to know this aswell, this UI is so much better then the current UI. Maybe the gametypes UI isn’t as good (should always be a list going down, not across, slows everything down when wanting to look through gametypes), but yeah, WHY 343!?
Since they’re meant to be working on updating the UI, theres a part of me that wishes they went back to this UI and finished it off, but then the other part of me knows this will sadly never happen

Keep in mind that this is an early concept, so it would’ve been easy for 343 to scrap the horizontal gametype UI and make it vertical instead. IDK, but there is a lot of decisions that 343 should’ve let the community know about to have their say on the matter because we all know that this early UI would’ve won over 343’s currently mediocre UI.

I’ve been saying the same since i saw this, its like they looked at this concept and went “Nah, its to good. We need to dumb it down, make it very basic and remove half the stuff to force people to go on Waypoint”

Yeah I just saw it and it made me depressed. Seriously this looks a lot better, It seems like 343 can’t do anything right. It’s making me look at Halo 5 differently like damn imagine if they kept it. Maybe they can update it.
i think they just got lazy as hell with everything they left out.INCLUDING THIS WHICH IS LITERALLY THE EASIEST THING TO HAVE KEPT. the current UI is so bad

I’m pretty sure he’s saying the one we have now should have never made it out of the concept stage, and the concept in the video should’ve been the final product. Maybe you are mentally handicapped or just some 12 year old that likes to start crap? /joke

This isn’t really new. I remember seeing 343i posting pictures and stuff a LONG time ago of some of these.

agreed!! 343I head was …you know… somewhere… When they decided to take something like medal viewing after the match out… holy crap!!! I miss it SO MUCH.

Ya I was like “wow!!! those look so much better…looks like next gen!” where as now it looks like somewhere between last and next gen.

I like what I saw so much more!! MEDAL viewing!!! Looks so good!!! Like buddy says in the video, that whole dark/neon thing they had going on looks amazing!!!
We should all try to make a complaint about this UI, and hopefully 343 can go back to its original concepts of the UI and change the current one. I really hope that’s what they’re doing for the December update.
