In your opinion, what made Halo’s online multiplayer so successful?
What made halo successful?
It was one of the first good Arena shooters for xbox live… more like console gaming in general. It didn’t have the competition that modern games have now. Call of Duty and Battlefield weren’t big players back in the early 2000’s. I’d say Halo’s first real competition was CoD4 back in 2007, and more games followed its successful design, so more players left Halo.
