the majority of players agree with the req system.

Just quit halo, make halo truly ccompletely dead so they have to redesign it from the ground up and have a full restart.
Maybe they will even get a new development studio if the game starts selling below 1 mill sales.
The most effective way to fix halo:
Quit halo.
The req system is good because it will kill halo and force the game to have a full restart and hopefully they will scrap microtransactions out of halo.
I’m not going to quit something that still has a lot of potential even if the recent game has misstepped uncomfortably far way too often.
REQs are far and away the greatest thing that has ever happened to halo IMO.

You feel REQs are the best thing to ever happen to Halo? Better than the introduction of things like Firefight? Better than fanmade gametypes like Zombies and Race becoming legit parts of the game? Better than an ever improving Forge mode? Better than a file browser system that allowed fans to upload and share content?
Microtransactions beat all that?

But honestly, how is it any different then how reach handled thing. Yes there is RNG in the system of Halo 5, but during Halo 5’s launch, it took far less effort and game time to unlock all the permenate items and Armor then it ever took in Halo Reach.
This req pack is like buying bottled water when you have running tap water and are living near a fresh water lake. Evian is naive backwards and everyone going off their rockers about this dumb req pack is very misguided.
If every one quits playing Halo then it becomes an unviable product and Microsoft will just kill it. They don’t continue to make games that don’t sell (looking at Fable Legends).
The only hope classic fans have , is that 343 will see the error and plummeting numbers of the current series and rectify things sooner rather than later. If not they will continue down this path of inconsistent development and continue throwing everything at the wall til something sticks.
But who knows , the metric today is more about sales rather than gamer retention. Microsoft may very well be happy with people playing for 6 months and abandoning the game. Just ensures they can sell you something else.

Agreeable. I think Microsoft might even be letting it for right now and be preparing for a rebirth or something and release on pc and have halo 6 be great and have it on pc so that way pc gamers who aren’t already fed up with halo 5 get hyped for halo on pc.
Seems like they are planning some kind of Windows 10 release probably MCC port or something at least since they made a halo app for pc. Pc gamers still think halo is the top console shooter and that it’s still great and as popular as before.
Complaining won’t get anything done because it’s 50/50 the stupid 343 fanboys are 50% who support the req system and pretend everything is fine.
I’m in the other 50 that thinks the opposite.
343 can’t just say “screw you” to half of the halo community thus telling then to support your side won’t make a difference.
