Why complain about mics?

I don’t get it why people complain about mics? Instead of complaining nobody wears them why don’t you wear them? If you want to get the team communication back than just plug in your mic and eventually other people will plug it in too!

I think it’s funny that there are a lot of people who complain about no teamwork but dont even use there own mics?

No offensive ment this is just post to send people in the right direction instead of complaining.

MOTTO: Don’t complain about no communication without using your own mic

People use mics in party chat because they don’t want to hear the homophobic, racism and hate speech that is Xbox LIVE.

People use their mics, but they are usually in party chat talking to friends and I can’t blame them, I do the same thing most days.

I’ve just given up putting my mic in to call out because when I do, I’m usually just called an awful player, flamed because of my accent or even better, just ignored.

People complain for good reason.
Also, you’re complaining about the complainers, bit ironic.

im usually in a party but when i find a group of people talking and they are on my team ill switch to game chat.

and when im really going for communication ill team up with a group of friends

I only use party chat. Getting orders screamed at you by some random while you’re top of the team gets real old real fast. I have nothing to say to people I don’t personally know. I don’t even really play unless my friends are on which is rare these days.

I would like to see people get kicked out of party chat in multiplayer. The novelty of party chat has worn off on me.

The real problem is the fact that you can’t talk to the enemy team pre-game.

Id rather not listen to 5 year olds and besides you can multiple conversations happening in one game with partychat.most people i play with luckily o what i do have similar stragigies naturally and succed because of it (im just really lucky arent I)

If I can’t be in party chat I’m not playing at all then.

I would like to see a Ranked/Social split in Halo 5 where the Ranked playlists have Proximity Chat enabled and Party Chat disabled.

I’ll take some 5 year-old any day over somebody with their Turtlebeach plug and play charger vocally sodomizing my eardrums. Um…what?

I personally would prefer to see it over the entire game. Oh well, that’s just my own opinion.

You’re making it sound a lot worse than it actually is.

Not really. She raises a valid point. When you dictate how people play, those that don’t like it stop playing. Halo 4 has kind of become a shining example of this.

Nah youve had hallucinations of playing cod where all the game chat problems dwell

Okay. You play as a girl for a day and then tell me I’m making it sound worse than it is.

Didn’t we have search options in Reach that changed the type of player you were likely to be matched with? Anyway, did that work at all?

> Nah youve had hallucinations of playing cod where all the game chat problems dwell

It happens on Halo too.

> When you dictate how people play, those that don’t like it stop playing.

Party chat isn’t part of the game though, it’s just a minor luxury that hampers games which can utilize communication. When you buy a new game, is support for party chat one of the first things that pop into your mind? I’d like to assume not, and say the overwhelming majority of people simply don’t have strong feelings either way.

All it did was just match you with other players who had the same settings. It was easily abused.

Most people dont and wont use it so its not worth the change besides people like it how it is
I play with randoms and have never needed to talk other than to tell someone to shut up since the game works fine without it. Plus only your friends really want to play in a similar way and do things the same way, randoms arent like that.

Yes it happens in halo but turtle beach isnt as common as 5 year olds

While you do raise a valid point, OP…

The problem with using mics in Halo is the people that use the mics…

Whenever I plug in my mic, I can hear some little twelve year dropping the F-bomb in every sentence. That normally makes me stray away from ever using a mic in game, as I prefer to speak to people with intelligence.

Not only are there bad-mouthed twelve year olds, but then comes hate speech towards other people. I once got into this match that had a girl speaking into the mic, and pretty much the whole game sexually harassed her whenever she got a kill.

It’s a shame what the world has come to these days, and now my 150 Dollar Turtle Beaches are collecting dust on an abandoned shelf…

*PS: I also don’t like to socialize…
