Why Chief isn't dying in this game

Last Sunday, when A Hero Falls trailer came out, some believed this was 343 telling us that Chief might die in the game by the end. People then freaked out when people tried to decipher a page from the Sprint season 3 which, but I don’t believe that he’s going to die. 343 has said multiple times that Chief is the main character of the Reclaimer Saga, and that a major point of the games is to explore Chief in the RS. They did say in A Hero Awakens that telling the hero’s journey when he’s already the hero became a theme of not just Halo 4, but the entire Reclaimer Saga. Frankie also said here on NeoGaf that they don’t plan on retiring Master Chief just yet. In an article with GamesRadar Bonnie says that “You can look at the ending of Halo 4 – and where Master Chief is,” she continues, "and obviously we had to know where we were going to take Halo 5 and Halo 6 with that. This really seems to pretty much confirm that Chief is not dying in this game. No worries people.

seemed to depict Locke finding Chief’s body in the rubble of the Infinity apparently killed by the Warden Eternal

Of course he’s not. But Arby’s will.

I feel like theres more to this post that you forgot to post.

Of course chief isn’t dying. People actually thought he was?

O’Connor already confirmed they aren’t preparing to kill him.

If we remeber back to Halo 3 people were on obout cheif being killed by that slipspace jump and everybody freaked out. Movies and games always do this do create hype. It would be highly likely though that Locke or Buck die in this Halo.

Chief cannot die he has a [destiny] to fullfill, he will confront his adversary at [eden], at the end of the cycle, and the beginning of the next. They will fight as the stars [die] [ are born].
